Бог, Які шмат разоў і многімі спосабамі здаўна прамаўляў да бацькоў нашых праз прарокаў,

God, who [a]at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

у гэтыя апошнія дні прамовіў нам праз Сына, Якога паставіў спадкаемцам усяго, праз Якога і вякі стварыў.

has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the [b]worlds;

Ён, будучы ззяннем славы і адлюстраваннем істоты Яго і трымаючы ўсё словам сілы Сваёй, здзейсніўшы Сабою ачышчэнне грахоў нашых, сеў праваруч прастола велічы ў вы́шніх,

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had [c]by Himself [d]purged [e]our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

настолькі пераўзыходзячы ангелаў, наколькі выда́тнейшае за іх унасле́даваў імя́.

having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Бо каму з ангелаў калі-небудзь сказаў Бог: «Ты Сын Мой, Я сёння нарадзіў Цябе»? І яшчэ: «Я буду Яму Айцом, і Ён будзе Мне Сынам»?

For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?

Таксама, калі ўводзіць Першароднага ў свет, кажа: «і няхай пакло́няцца Яму ўсе ангелы Божыя».

But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.”

Пра ангелаў сказана: «Ты робіш ангеламі Сваімі духаў і служыцелямі Сваімі — полымя вогненнае».

And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.”

А пра Сына: «прастол Твой, Божа, у век веку; жазло́ царства Твайго — жазло справядлівасці.

But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A [f]scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

Ты ўзлюбіў праведнасць і ўзненавідзеў беззаконне; таму пама́заў Цябе, Божа, Бог Твой алеем радасці больш за супольнікаў Тваіх»;

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

і: «у пачатку Ты, Госпадзі, заснаваў зямлю, і нябёсы — справа рук Тваіх;

And: “You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

яны загінуць, а Ты застане́шся; і ўсе, як адзежа, састарацца,

They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment;

і, як вопратку, згорнеш іх, і яны зме́няцца; а Ты — той самы, і гады́ Твае не скончацца».

Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail.”

Каму з ангелаў сказаў калі-небудзь Бог: «сядзі праваруч Мяне, пакуль пакладу ворагаў Тваіх у падножжа ног Тваіх»?

But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?

Хіба не ўсе яны — службовыя духі, пасла́ныя на служэнне дзеля тых, якія маюць унасле́даваць спасе́нне?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
