Павал і Сілуан і Цімафей Царкве Фесаланіцкай у Богу Айцы і Госпадзе Ісусе Хрысьце: мілата вам і мір ад Бога Айца нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Увесь час дзякуем Богу за ўсіх вас, спамінаючы вас у малітвах нашых,

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

няспынна памятаючы вашу дзею веры і працу любові і цярплівасьць спадзяваньня на Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста прад Богам і Айцом нашым,

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

ведаючы выбраньне ваша, любасныя браты;

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

бо наша зьвеставаньне ў вас было ня ў слове толькі, а і ў сіле, і ў Сьвятым Духу і з многімі сьведчаньнямі, як вы самі ведаеце, якія мы былі для вас паміж вамі.

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

І вы пачалі пераймаць нас і Госпада, прыняўшы слова ў вялікіх смутках з радасьцю Духа Сьвятога,

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

так што вы зрабіліся ўзорам усім веруючым у Македоніі і Ахаі.

So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.

Бо ад вас пранеслася слова Гасподняе ня толькі ў Македоніі і Ахаі, але і па ўсіх усюдах прайшла слава пра веру вашую ў Бога, так што нам ні пра што ня трэба распавядаць.

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

Бо самі яны распавядаюць пра нас, які прыход мы мелі ў вас і як вы навярнуліся ад ідалаў да Бога, каб служыць Богу жывому і сапраўднаму

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

і чакаць зь нябёсаў Сына Ягонага, Якога Ён уваскрэсіў зь мёртвых, Ісуса, Які ратуе нас ад будучага гневу.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
