Паўла а Сілан а Цімох царкве Салунскай у Богу Айцу а Спадару Ісусу Хрысту: ласка вам а супакой.

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Мы заўсёды дзякуем Богу за вас усіх, мянуючы вас у малітвах сваіх,

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;

Бязупынку памятуючы ваш учынак веры і працу міласьці і цярплівосьць надзеі на Спадара нашага Ісуса Хрыста перад Богам а Айцом нашым,

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

Ведаючы, любыя Богу браты, праз абраньне ваша;

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

Бо Дабравесьць наша была ў вас ня ў слове толькі, але і ў магутнасьці, і ў Духу Сьвятым, і ў шмат якім перакананьню.

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

І вы сталі перайманьнікамі нашымі й Божымі, прыняўшы слова ў шмат атугах із радасьцяй Духа Сьвятога;

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

Так што вы сталі зразаю ўсім вернікам у Макядоні а ўв Ахаі.

So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.

Бо ад вас прагучэла слова Спадарова ня толькі ў Макядоні а Ахаі, але ў кажным месцу вера ваша ўзглядам Бога разьнеслася, так што мы не патрабуем нічога казаць.

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

Бо яны самы павядаюць праз нас, які ўход мелі мы да вас, і як вы навярнуліся да Бога ад балваноў, каб служыць Богу жывому й праўдзіваму

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

І чакаць ізь нябёс Сына Ягонага, Каторага Ён ускрысіў ізь мертвых, Ісуса, што збаўляе нас ад прыйдучага гневу.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
