Enoch, Methushelah, Lemech,

Noah; Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Ной, Сим, Хам и Иафет.

The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

Сыновья Иафета: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Иаван, Елиса, Фувал, Мешех и Фирас.

And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, And Diphath, And Togarmah.

Сыновья Гомера: Аскеназ, Рифат и Фогарма.

And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.

Сыновья Иавана: Елиса, Фарсис, Киттим и Доданим.

The sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim, Phut and Canaan.

Сыновья Хама: Хуш, Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан.

And the sons of Cush: Seba And Havilah, And Sabta, And Raama, And Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba And Dedan.

Сыновья Хуша: Сева, Хавила, Савта, Раама и Савтеха. Сыновья Раамы: Шева и Дедан.

And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be mighty on the earth.

Хуш родил также Нимрода; этот начал быть сильным на земле.

-- And Mizraim begot the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,

Мицраим родил Лудима, Анамима, Легавима, Нафтухима,

and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim out of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphtorim.

Патрусима, Каслухима, от которого произошли филистимляне, и Кафторима.

-- And Canaan begot Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

Ханаан родил Сидона, первенца своего, Хета,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

Евея, Аркея, Синея,

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

Сыновья Сима: Елам, Ассур, Арфаксад, Луд и Арам, Уц, Хул, Гефер и Мешех.

And Arphaxad begot Shelah, And Shelah begot Eber.

Арфаксад родил Салу, Сала же родил Евера.

And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

У Евера родились два сына: имя одного Фалек, потому что во дни его разделилась земля; имя брата его Иоктан.

And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

Иоктан родил Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавета, Иераха,

and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

Гадорама, Узала, Диклу,

and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

Евала, Авимаила, Шеву,

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were sons of Joktan.

Офира, Хавилу и Иовава. Все эти — сыновья Иоктана.

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

Сыновья же Сима: Арфаксад, Сала,

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

Евер, Фалек, Рагав,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

Серух, Нахор, Фарра,

Abram: the same is Abraham.

Аврам, он же Авраам.

The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

Сыновья Авраама: Исаак и Измаил.

These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;

Вот родословие их: первенец Измаила Наваиоф, за ним Кедар, Адбеел, Мивсам,

Mishma and Dumah; Massa, Hadad, and Tema;

Мишма, Дума, Масса, Хадад, Фема,

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedmah: those are the sons of Ishmael.

Иетур, Нафиш и Кедма. Это сыновья Измаила.

-- And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

Сыновья Хеттуры, наложницы Авраама: она родила Зимрана, Иокшана, Медана, Мадиана, Ишбака и Шуаха. Сыновья Иокшана: Шева и Дедан.

And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were sons of Keturah.

Сыновья Мадиана: Ефа, Ефер, Ханох, Авида и Елдага. Все эти — сыновья Хеттуры.

And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

И родил Авраам Исаака. Сыновья Исаака: Исав и Израиль.

The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

Сыновья Исава: Елифаз, Рагуил, Иеус, Иеглом и Корей.

the sons of Eliphaz: Teman And Omar, Zephi And Gatam, Kenaz, And Timna, And Amalek.

Сыновья Елифаза: Феман, Омар, Цефо, Гафам, Кеназ, Амалик.

The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

Сыновья Рагуила: Нахаф, Зерах, Шамма и Миза.

And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

Сыновья Сеира: Лотан, Шовал, Цивеон, Ана, Дишон, Ецер и Дишан.

-- And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. And Lotan's sister, Timna.

Сыновья Лотана: Хори и Гемам; а сестра у Лотана Фимна.

the sons of Shobal: Alian, And Manahath, And Ebal, Shephi And Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Ajah And Anah.

Сыновья Шовала: Алеан, Манахаф, Евал, Шефо и Онам. Сыновья Цивеона: Аиа и Ана.

the sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, And Eshban, And Jithran, And Cheran.

Дети Аны: Дишон. Сыновья Дишона: Хемдан, Ешбан, Ифран и Херан.

-- The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, [and] Jaakan. -- The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

Сыновья Ецера: Билган, Зааван и Акан. Сыновья Дишана: Уц и Аран.

And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned a king over the children of Israel: -- Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

Вот цари, царствовавшие в земле Эдома, прежде нежели воцарился царь над сынами Израилевыми: Бела, сын Веора, и имя города его Дингава.

And Bela died; and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

И умер Бела, и воцарился по нем Иовав, сын Зераха, из Восоры.

And Jobab died; and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

И умер Иовав, и воцарился по нем Хушам, из земли феманитян.

And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

И умер Хушам, и воцарился по нем Гадад, сын Бедада, который поразил мадианитян на поле Моава; имя города его Авив.

And Hadad died; and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

И умер Гадад, и воцарился по нем Самла, из Масреки.

And Samlah died; and Saul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.

И умер Самла, и воцарился по нем Саул из Реховофа, что при реке.

And Saul died; and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

И умер Саул, и воцарился по нем Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

And Baal-hanan died; and Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.

И умер Баал-Ханан, и воцарился по нем Гадар; имя города его Пау; имя жены его Мегетавеель, дочь Матреда, дочь Мезагава.

And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,

И умер Гадар. И были старейшины у Эдома: старейшина Фимна, старейшина Алва, старейшина Иетеф,

chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

старейшина Оливема, старейшина Эла, старейшина Пинон,

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

старейшина Кеназ, старейшина Феман, старейшина Мивцар,

chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.

старейшина Магдиил, старейшина Ирам. Вот старейшины идумейские.
