Первое послание к Коринфянам святого апостола Павла

Напоминаю вам, братья, о Евангелии, которое я возвестил вам, а вы приняли и укрепились в нем.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

От него к вам и приходит спасение, если держитесь моей Благой Вести, если не зря уверовали.

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Прежде всего, я передал вам то, что и сам принял: Христос умер за наши грехи по Писаниям,

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

был погребен и воскрес в третий день по Писаниям,

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

явился Кифе, а затем и всем двенадцати апостолам,

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

а потом явился более чем пятистам братьям сразу. Большинство из них и поныне остаются с нами, а некоторые скончались.

After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Потом Он явился Иакову, затем и всем апостолам.

After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

А после всех явился и мне, недостойному последышу.

And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

Я ведь самый меньший из апостолов и не достоин даже называться апостолом, поскольку преследовал Церковь Божью.

For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

Но благодать Божья сделала меня тем, кто я теперь, и Его благодать действовала во мне: я потрудился более всех остальных, впрочем, не сам я, но благодать Божья со мной.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Но кто бы ни проповедовал так — я или они, — именно так вы и уверовали.

Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

И если звучит весть о воскресении Христа из мертвых, как же некоторые из вас говорят, что мертвые не воскресают?

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Ведь если мертвые не воскресают, то и Христос не воскрес,

But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

а если Христос не воскрес, напрасна тогда наша проповедь, напрасна и вера ваша.

And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

И окажется, что мы принесли ложное свидетельство о Боге: мы засвидетельствовали, что Бог воскресил Христа, а ведь Он Его не воскрешал, если мертвые не воскресают.

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

Если мертвые не воскресают, то и Христос не воскрес!

For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

Если же Христос не воскрес, ни к чему ваша вера, вы всё еще во грехах своих,

And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

да и те, кто скончались с верой во Христа, погибли.

Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

И если бы мы надеялись на Христа только в этой жизни, то были бы самыми несчастными из людей!

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Но Христос воскрес из мертвых — первенец из всех почивших!

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Через одного человека пришла смерть, и воскресение мертвых — через другого человека:

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

как Адам, все умирают, как Христос, все оживут.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Каждый на своем месте: первенец — Христос, а когда Он придет — те, кто со Христом.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Затем настанет конец этому миру, когда Христос передаст царство Богу и Отцу, упразднив всякое начальство, и власть, и силу.

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Ему предстоит царствовать, «пока не повергнет врагов к ногам Своим»,

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

и последний враг, который будет уничтожен — это смерть.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Ведь Бог «всё покорил Ему под ноги», и если сказано «всё покорил» — ясно, что Сам Покоритель подчинен не был.

For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

И когда Бог всё подчинит Своему Сыну, тогда и Сам Сын покорится Богу, Который отдал под Его начало весь мир. И так Бог станет всем и во всех.

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

И что же тогда делают те, кто крестится за мертвых? Если мертвые вообще не воскресают, зачем и креститься за них?

Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

А мы зачем постоянно терпим опасности?

And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

Я ежедневно умираю — клянусь моей гордостью за вас, братья, ведь я могу вами похвалиться во Христе Иисусе, Господе нашем.

I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Если в Эфесе я сражался со зверями ради человеческой выгоды — в чем тут она для меня? Если мертвые не воскресают, что остается? «Станем есть и пить, ибо завтра умрем».

If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

Но не обманывайтесь: «речи дурные портят добрые нравы».

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Мыслите по-настоящему трезво и не грешите, а то ведь некоторым Бог неведом — говорю это, чтобы вас пристыдить.

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Но кто-нибудь спросит: как же мертвые воскресают? В каком теле они вернутся к жизни?

But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

Неразумный! Семя, которое ты бросаешь в почву, не оживет, если не умрет.

Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

И при посеве ты бросаешь в землю не то, что вырастет, а лишь голое семечко, пшеничное или какое еще может там оказаться.

And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

А Бог придаст растению такое тело, какое пожелал — свое растение из каждого семени.

But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

И тела у разных живых существ различны: одни у людей, другие у зверей, третьи у птиц, четвертые у рыб.

All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

Так бывают тела небесные и тела земные, и своя слава у небесных, и у земных своя.

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

Своя слава у солнца, своя слава у луны и своя слава у звезд, и звезда от звезды отличается славой.

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

Так и с воскресением мертвых: сеется тело умирающее, вырастает тело бессмертное;

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

сеется униженное, вырастает славное; сеется слабое, вырастает могучее;

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

сеется тело душевное, вырастает тело духовное. Ведь если есть тело душевное, то есть и духовное.

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Так и написано: «стал первый человек, Адам, душой живой», а Христос как Последний Адам стал духом животворящим.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Но первым возникло не духовное тело, а душевное, духовное уже потом.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

Первый человек взят от земли, он из праха, а другой человек, Христос, сошел с неба.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Каков земной, таковы и земные, каков небесный — таковы и небесные,

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

и как мы носили образ земного, так будем носить и образ небесного.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Вот что скажу вам, братья: плоть и кровь не способны получить долю в Царстве Божием, и не смертное тело обретет бессмертие.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Открою вам тайну: не все мы скончаемся, но все мы изменимся

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

в один миг, во мгновение ока в конце времен под звук трубы: она затрубит, и мертвые воскреснут в нетленных телах, а наши тела изменятся.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Нынешнему тленному телу предстоит стать нетленным, смертному — стать бессмертным.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

И когда нынешнее тленное тело станет нетленным, и смертное станет бессмертным, тогда сбудется написанное слово: «Смерть поглощена победой!»

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

«Где, смерть, твоя победа? Где, смерть, твое жало?»

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Жало смерти — это грех, а грех берет силу от закона.

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Благодарение Богу, эта победа для нас добыта Господом нашим Иисусом Христом!

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Так что, братья мои возлюбленные, стойте твердо, непоколебимо, умножайте постоянно ваши труды ради Господа и знайте, что ваши старания Господь не оставит без награды.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
