Первое послание к Коринфянам святого апостола Павла

Что касается сбора средств для святой Иерусалимской общины, даю вам такое же распоряжение, что и церквям Галатии:

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

в первый день недели пусть каждый из вас сам откладывает, сколько ему позволяют средства. И когда я приду, уже не нужно будет устраивать сбора.

Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Когда я окажусь у вас, то выбранных вами людей отправлю с сопроводительными письмами отнести ваше даяние в Иерусалим.

And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

Если же будет уместно отправиться и мне, мы пойдем вместе.

And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.

Я отправлюсь к вам, когда обойду Македонию, ведь я собираюсь пройти по Македонии.

Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.

Поживу у вас, если получится, или даже перезимую, а потом вы отправите меня в дальнейший мой путь.

And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

Не хочу, чтобы мы сейчас повидались мимоходом — я надеюсь провести у вас некоторое время, если Господь позволит.

For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

В Эфесе я останусь до Пятидесятницы,

But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

здесь открыта широкая дверь, и есть успех, но и противников много.

For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

Когда придет к вам Тимофей, постарайтесь, чтобы его пребывание у вас было безопасным: он совершает Божий труд, как и я.

Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

Пусть никто не относится к нему пренебрежительно, а потом с миром отправьте его обратно ко мне. Мы вместе с братьями ждем его.

Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

Что касается брата Аполлоса, я долго уговаривал его отправиться к вам вместе с другими братьями, но он никак не хотел. Он придет, когда представится случай.

As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.

Будьте бдительны, стойки в вере, мужественны и крепки.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

И пусть всё у вас будет с любовью.

Let all your things be done with charity.

Братья, вы ведь знаете дом Стефана — ведь это первое приношение Господу от провинции Ахайя, эта семья посвятила себя служению святому Божьему народу. Призываю вас

I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

тоже подчиняться таким людям и всем, кто старательно трудится вместе с нами.

That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

Я рад приходу Стефана, Фортуната и Ахаика, рядом с ними не так остро чувствуется разлука с вами.

I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

Они успокоили и мой дух, и ваш. Цените таких людей.

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

Приветствуют вас все церкви провинции Асии. Горячо приветствуют вас в Господе Акила и Приска вместе с домашней своей церковью.

The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

Приветствуют вас все братья. Приветствуйте друг друга святым поцелуем!

All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.

Особое приветствие моей собственной рукой, от Павла:

The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.

если кто не любит Господа, да будет предан анафеме. Марана-фа!

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

Благодать Господа Иисуса с вами,

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

и любовь моя со всеми вами во Христе Иисусе.
