От: Савла, по воле Бога посланника Мессии Иисуса. Кому: Божьему народу в Ефесе, то есть всем тем, кто верит Мессии Иисусу:

This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus. I am writing to God’s holy people in Ephesus,a who are faithful followers of Christ Jesus.

Благодать вам и мир от Бога, Отца нашего, и Господа Мессии Иисуса.

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

Да будет превознесён Господь, Отец нашего Господа Мессии Иисуса, Который в Мессии благословил нас всяким духовным благословением в небесах.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

В Мессии Он избрал нас любовью прежде сотворения вселенной, чтобы мы были святы и непорочны в Его присутствии.

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

Он предопределил, согласно Своему желанию и замыслу, что через Мессию Иисуса мы станем Его сыновьями,

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

чтобы мы могли восхвалить Его в ответ на славную благодать, которую Он дал нам через Возлюбленного.

So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.b

В союзе с ним, благодаря тому, что он пролил свою кровь, мы спасены — наши грехи прощены, в полном согласии с богатством благодати,

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

в избытке дарованной нам. Во всей Своей мудрости и проницательности

He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.

Он раскрыл нам Свой тайный изначальный замысел, связанный с Мессией, соответствующий Его воле,

God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ — which is to fulfill his own good plan.

который Он осуществит, когда наступит время, — чтобы подчинить главенству Мессии всё, что находится в небесах и на земле.

And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ — everything in heaven and on earth.

Кроме того, будучи в союзе с Мессией, мы стали наследниками, мы, избранные заранее согласно замыслу Того, Кто всё совершает в соответствии со Своим волеизъявлением,

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God,c for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.

чтобы мы, ранее возложившие свои надежды на Мессию, воздали Ему хвалу в ответ на Его славу.

God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.

Потом и вы, слышавшие послание истины, Добрую Весть, предлагающую вам спасение, и доверившиеся Мессии, были скреплены печатью обещанного Святого Духа,

And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his ownd by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.

который является залогом нашего наследия до тех пор, пока мы не вступим во владение им и тем самым воздадим Ему хвалу в ответ на Его славу.

The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

По этой причине я, с тех пор, как услышал о вашей вере в Господа Иисуса и любви ко всему Божьему народу,

Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere,e

непрестанно благодарю за вас. В своих молитвах я постоянно прошу

I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,

Бога нашего Господа Мессии Иисуса, прославленного Отца, даровать вам духа мудрости и откровения, чтобы вы познали Его глубину.

asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdomf and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.

Я молюсь, чтобы Он просветил взор ваших сердец, чтобы вы могли понять, для какой надежды Он призвал вас, какое богатство славы присутствует в том наследии, которое Он обещал Своему народу,

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called — his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.g

и как безмерно велико Его могущество, действующее в нас, доверяющих Ему. Оно действует той же великой силой,

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power

которой Он воскресил Мессию из мёртвых и посадил по правую руку от Себя на небесах,

that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

гораздо выше любого правителя, власти, силы, господства и любого имени, которое можно найти и в этом мире, и в грядущем мире.

Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else — not only in this world but also in the world to come.

Кроме того, Он всё положил к его ногам и сделал его главой всего в Мессианской Общине,

God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.

которая является его телом, полным отображением Того, Кто наполняет Собой всё творение.

And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.
