Вот родословная Иисуса Христа, происходящего из рода Давида, рожденного в роде Авраама:

This is a record of the ancestors of Jesus the Messiah, a descendant of David and of Abrahama:

Авраам был отцом Исаака. Исаак был отцом Иакова, Иаков был отцом Иуды и его братьев.

Abraham was the father of Isaac. Isaac was the father of Jacob. Jacob was the father of Judah and his brothers.

Иуда был отцом Фареса и Зары, их матерью была Фамарь. Фарес был отцом Есрома, Есром был отцом Арама.

Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah (whose mother was Tamar). Perez was the father of Hezron. Hezron was the father of Ram.b

Арам был отцом Аминадава. Аминадав был отцом Наассона. Наассон был отцом Салмона.

Ram was the father of Amminadab. Amminadab was the father of Nahshon. Nahshon was the father of Salmon.

Салмон был отцом Вооза, его матерью была Рахав. Вооз был отцом Овида, его матерью была Руфь. Овид был отцом Иессея.

Salmon was the father of Boaz (whose mother was Rahab). Boaz was the father of Obed (whose mother was Ruth). Obed was the father of Jesse.

Иессей был отцом царя Давида. Давид был отцом Соломона, его матерью была жена Урии.

Jesse was the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon (whose mother was Bathsheba, the widow of Uriah).

Соломон был отцом Ровоама. Ровоам был отцом Авии. Авия был отцом Асы.

Solomon was the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam was the father of Abijah. Abijah was the father of Asa.c

Аса был отцом Иосафата. Иосафат был отцом Иорама. Иорам был отцом Озии.

Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat was the father of Jehoram.d Jehoram was the fathere of Uzziah.

Озия был отцом Иоафама. Иоафам был отцом Ахаза. Ахаз был отцом Езекии.

Uzziah was the father of Jotham. Jotham was the father of Ahaz. Ahaz was the father of Hezekiah.

Езекия был отцом Манассии. Манассия был отцом Амона. Амон был отцом Иосии.

Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh. Manasseh was the father of Amon.f Amon was the father of Josiah.

Иосия был отцом Иехонии и его братьев, которые жили во время переселения израильского народа в Вавилон.

Josiah was the father of Jehoiaching and his brothers (born at the time of the exile to Babylon).

После изгнания в Вавилон: Иехония был отцом Салафииля, Салафииль был отцом Зоровавеля.

After the Babylonian exile: Jehoiachin was the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel was the father of Zerubbabel.

Зоровавель был отцом Авиуда, Авиуд был отцом Елиакима, Елиаким был отцом Азора.

Zerubbabel was the father of Abiud. Abiud was the father of Eliakim. Eliakim was the father of Azor.

Азор был отцом Садока. Садок был отцом Ахима, Ахим был отцом Елиуда.

Azor was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Akim. Akim was the father of Eliud.

Елиуд был отцом Елеазара. Елеазар был отцом Маттана, Маттан был отцом Иакова.

Eliud was the father of Eleazar. Eleazar was the father of Matthan. Matthan was the father of Jacob.

Иаков же был отцом Иосифа, мужа Марии, у которой родился Иисус, называемый Христом.

Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Mary gave birth to Jesus, who is called the Messiah.

Всего между Авраамом и Давидом было четырнадцать поколений, а также четырнадцать поколений между Давидом и переселением в Вавилон, и четырнадцать поколений между переселением в Вавилон и рождением Христа.

All those listed above include fourteen generations from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the Babylonian exile, and fourteen from the Babylonian exile to the Messiah.

Вот как произошло рождение Иисуса Христа: Его мать, Мария, была помолвлена с Иосифом, но прежде чем их брак совершился, оказалось, что она беременна от Святого Духа.

This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Иосиф, её будущий муж, был благочестивым человеком. Он не хотел подвергать её публичному унижению и поэтому решил расторгнуть помолвку без огласки.

Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagementh quietly.

Но пока он обдумывал это, к нему во сне явился Ангел Господний и сказал: «Иосиф, сын Давидов, не бойся взять Марию себе в жёны, так как Дитя, Которое она зачала, — от Святого Духа.

As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Она родит Сына, и ты назовёшь Его Иисусом, потому что Он спасёт Свой народ от его грехов».

And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus,i for he will save his people from their sins.”

Всё это случилось во исполнение сказанного Господом устами пророка:

All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:

«Слушайте! Забеременеет девственница и родит Сына. И назовут Его Эммануилом», что значит «С нами Бог!»

“Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel,j which means ‘God is with us.’”

Когда Иосиф проснулся, он поступил по велению Ангела Господнего и взял Марию в жёны,

When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife.

но соблюдал её девственность, пока она не родила Сына. Иосиф назвал Его Иисусом.

But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.
