Приветствия от Иуды, слуги Иисуса Христа и брата Иакова, к призванным, возлюбленным Богом Отцом, охраняемым для Иисуса Христа.

This letter is from Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and a brother of James. I am writing to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ.a

Пусть милость, мир и любовь приумножатся среди вас!

May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love.

Друзья любимые! Хоть и очень хотелось бы мне написать вам о нашем взаимном спасении, я считаю нужным написать вам и призвать к тому, чтобы вы боролись за веру, которую раз и навсегда даровал Бог Своему святому народу.

Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people.

Потому что к вам вкрались некоторые люди, чьё осуждение издавна было предсказано в Писаниях пророками. Они, нечестивые, обращают благодать нашего Бога в оправдание своего распутства и отвергают Иисуса Христа, нашего Владыку и Господа единого.

I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Я хочу напомнить вам, хотя вы всё это уже знаете, что Господь, Который однажды спас Свой народ, выведя из египетской земли, потом уничтожил тех, кто отказывался уверовать.

So I want to remind you, though you already know these things, that Jesusb first rescued the nation of Israel from Egypt, but later he destroyed those who did not remain faithful.

Я также хочу напомнить вам об ангелах, не удержавших доверенной им власти, но покинувших своё обиталище. Господь содержал их в темноте, скованными вечными цепями, чтобы осудить в День великий.

And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in prisons of darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment.

И ещё хочу напомнить вам о Содоме и Гоморре и близлежащих городах. Они, как и те ангелы, жили в разврате и предавались плотским извращениям, и были преданы наказанию огнём вечным в пример другим.

And don’t forget Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns, which were filled with immorality and every kind of sexual perversion. Those cities were destroyed by fire and serve as a warning of the eternal fire of God’s judgment.

Так точно и те, кто присоединился к вам, руководимы мечтаниями своими и оскверняют свои тела, отрицают власть Божью и порочат славных.

In the same way, these people — who claim authority from their dreams — live immoral lives, defy authority, and scoff at supernatural beings.c

Даже сам Архангел Михаил, когда спорил с дьяволом о теле Моисея, не осмелился высказаться против дьявола, а сказал: «Пусть Господь накажет тебя».

But even Michael, one of the mightiest of the angels,d did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said, “The Lord rebuke you!” (This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.)

Но эти люди поносят то, чего не понимают и о чём они, подобно неразумным животным, знают только по наитию и тем самым уничтожают себя.

But these people scoff at things they do not understand. Like unthinking animals, they do whatever their instincts tell them, and so they bring about their own destruction.

Горе им! Они избрали путь Каина. Ради наживы они предались тем же заблуждениям, что и Валаам. Они будут уничтожены точно так же, как и те, кто участвовал в восстании Корея.

What sorrow awaits them! For they follow in the footsteps of Cain, who killed his brother. Like Balaam, they deceive people for money. And like Korah, they perish in their rebellion.

Они подобны подводным камням на ваших пиршествах. Без угрызений совести они пируют с вами, но беспокоятся только о себе. Эти люди как облака без влаги, гонимые ветром. Они словно деревья, не приносящие плодов во время сбора урожая, а потому их вырывают с корнем, и, значит, они умерли дважды.

When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord’s love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you.e They are like shameless shepherds who care only for themselves. They are like clouds blowing over the land without giving any rain. They are like trees in autumn that are doubly dead, for they bear no fruit and have been pulled up by the roots.

Они подобны бурным морским волнам, покрытым пеной своих постыдных деяний. Они словно блуждающие звёзды, которым навечно назначен мрак тьмы.

They are like wild waves of the sea, churning up the foam of their shameful deeds. They are like wandering stars, doomed forever to blackest darkness.

Об этих людях пророчествовал также и Енох, который был из седьмого колена Адама, такими словами: «Вот Господь идёт с великим множеством Своих Ангелов святых,

Enoch, who lived in the seventh generation after Adam, prophesied about these people. He said, “Listen! The Lord is coming with countless thousands of his holy ones

неся суд людям и обвинительный приговор за все их поступки, неугодные Богу, и за все дерзкие слова, произнесённые этими неблагочестивыми грешниками против Него».

to execute judgment on the people of the world. He will convict every person of all the ungodly things they have done and for all the insults that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”f

Эти люди постоянно жалуются и выискивают чужие недостатки. Они потакают своей похоти, у них на устах высокомерные слова, и они льстят другим ради собственной выгоды.

These people are grumblers and complainers, living only to satisfy their desires. They brag loudly about themselves, and they flatter others to get what they want.

Но вы, друзья любимые, помните слова, которые были сказаны ранее апостолами Господа нашего Иисуса Христа.

But you, my dear friends, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ predicted.

Они говорили вам: «Под конец появятся насмешники, следующие своим собственным неблагочестивым желаниям».

They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires.

Эти люди вызывают раскол, идут на поводу у собственных желаний, и в них нет Духа.

These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them.

Вы же, друзья любимые, должны укреплять друг друга в вашей самой святой вере. Молитесь с помощью Духа Святого.

But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit,g

Берегите себя в Божьей любви, ожидая Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, Который в милости Своей даст вам вечную жизнь.

and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.

Проявляйте милосердие к тем, кто сомневается,

And you must show mercy toh those whose faith is wavering.

спасайте грешных людей, выхватывая их из адского огня. Проявляя милосердие к остальным, будьте осторожны, чтобы не осквернить себя их грешными поступками.

Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others,i but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.j

Тому же, Кто способен охранить вас от падения и привести в славное присутствие Своё без упрека и в радости великой,

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.

единственному Богу, Спасителю нашему, через Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, пусть будет слава, величие, сила и власть во все времена, отныне и во веки веков! Аминь.

All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
