God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Бог, многократно и разнообразно говоривший в древности к отцам нашим через пророков,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

в последние дни говорил с нами через Сына Своего. Его поставил Он наследником всего и через Него сотворил миры.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Он — сияние славы Отца и отпечаток сущности Его, дающий все Словом силы Своей. Совершив очищение грехов, воссел Он по правую сторону от престола Величия в небесах,

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Настолько превзойдя ангелов, насколько имя Его было превыше всех их имён.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Кому из ангелов когда-либо сказал Бог: «Ты — Сын Мой! Сегодня я родил Тебя», и ещё: «Я буду Ему Отцом, и Он будет мне Сыном»?

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Также, когда приводит Первенца в мир, говорит Бог: «Пусть склонятся перед Ним все ангелы Божьи».

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

И об ангелах говорит: «Делающий ангелов своих ветрами, и служителей Своих — пламенем огня».

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

О Сыне же: «Престол Твой, Бог, во веки веков, и жезл Царства Твоего есть жезл правды.

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Ты поставил правду превыше всего и воспротивился беззаконию; поэтому и помазал Тебя, Боже, Бог Твой елеем ликования более, нежели сподвижников Твоих».

And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

И: «в начале Ты, Господи, основал землю, и небеса — дело рук Твоих;

They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

Они погибнут, но Ты останешься; и, словно одежда, обветшают;

And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Ты, как покрывало, свернешь их — и сменятся они. Ты же останешься прежним, и течение лет Твоих не прервется».

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Да и когда Бог сказал кому из ангелов: «Сядь по правую руку Мою, пока не положу врагов Твоих у ног Твоих»

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Разве не все они лишь служебные духи, посылаемые на служение ради тех, что готовятся унаследовать спасение?
