In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

В давние дни Бог многократно и различными способами говорил Отцам через пророков.

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

Теперь, в конец времен, Он проговорил к нам через Своего Сына, которому Он всё дал во владение и через которого сотворил вселенную.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Сын этот является сиянием Шхины, полным отображением сути Бога, поддерживающей всё существующее своим могущественным словом; совершив собой очищение грехов, он сел по правую руку от Величия на высоте.

So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Таким образом, он во многом превзошёл ангелов, и имя, данное ему Богом, лучше их имён.

For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father”a? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son”b?

Ибо кому из ангелов Бог когда-либо говорил: "Ты Мой Сын; сегодня Я стал твоим Отцом"? Кроме того, Бог никогда не говорил ни об одном ангеле: "Я буду его Отцом, а он будет Моим Сыном".

And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”c

Также, когда Бог вводит Своего Первенца в мир, Он говорит: "Поклонитесь Ему, все Божьи ангелы".

In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.”d

Действительно, об ангелах Он говорит следующее: "...Который делает ангелов Своих ветрами, огнём пылающим — служителей Своих".

But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

Сыну же Он говорит: "Престол Твой, Боже, навеки; скипетр справедливости — скипетр царства Твоего.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”e

Любишь Ты праведность и ненавидишь нечестие, поэтому помазал Тебя Бог, Бог Твой, елеем радости, предпочёл Тебя собратьям Твоим".

He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

Также: "В начале, Господь, основал Ты землю, и небеса — дело рук Твоих.

They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment.

Они сгинут, а Ты устоишь; как платье, все они обветшают;

You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.”f

как одежду, Ты свернёшь их, и изменятся они, подобно одежде. А Ты тот же, и годы Твои не окончатся никогда".

To which of the angels did God ever say, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”g?

Более того, кому из ангелов Он когда-либо говорил: "Сиди по правую руку от Меня, пока Я не сделаю врагов твоих подножием ног твоих"?

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Разве они не просто служащие духи, посланные на помощь тем, кто будет спасён Богом?
