Now Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and exalted him exceedingly.

И утверди́лся Соломо́н, сын Дави́дов, в ца́рстве своём; и Госпо́дь, Бог его́, был с ним, и вознёс его́ высоко́.

And Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to every leader in all Israel, the heads of the fathers’ houses.

И приказа́л Соломо́н собра́ться всему́ Изра́илю: тысяченача́льникам и стонача́льникам, и су́дьям, и всем нача́льствующим во всём Изра́иле — гла́вам поколе́ний.

Then Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to [a]the high place that was at Gibeon; for the tabernacle of meeting with God was there, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness.

И пошли́ Соломо́н и всё собра́ние с ним на высоту́, что в Гавао́не, и́бо там была́ Бо́жия ски́ния собра́ния, кото́рую устро́ил Моисе́й, раб Госпо́день, в пусты́не.

But David had brought up the ark of God from Kirjath Jearim to the place David had prepared for it, for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.

Ковче́г Бо́жий принёс Дави́д из Кириа́ф-Иари́ма на ме́сто, кото́рое пригото́вил для него́ Дави́д, устро́ив для него́ ски́нию в Иерусали́ме.

Now the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, [b]he put before the tabernacle of the Lord; Solomon and the assembly sought Him there.

А ме́дный же́ртвенник, кото́рый сде́лал Веселеи́л, сын У́рия, сы́на О́рова, остава́лся там, пред ски́ниею Госпо́днею, и взыска́л Его́ Соломо́н с собра́нием.

And Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.

И там пред лицо́м Го́спода, на ме́дном же́ртвеннике, кото́рый пред ски́ниею собра́ния, вознёс Соломо́н ты́сячу всесожже́ний.

On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask! What shall I give you?”

В ту ночь яви́лся Бог Соломо́ну и сказа́л ему́: проси́, что Мне дать тебе́.

And Solomon said to God: “You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place.

И сказа́л Соломо́н Бо́гу: Ты сотвори́л Дави́ду, отцу́ моему́, вели́кую ми́лость и поста́вил меня́ царём вме́сто него́.

Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

Да испо́лнится же, Го́споди Бо́же, сло́во Твоё к Дави́ду, отцу́ моему́. Так как Ты воцари́л меня́ над наро́дом многочи́сленным, как прах земно́й,

Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?”

то ны́не дай мне прему́дрость и зна́ние, что́бы я уме́л выходи́ть пред наро́дом сим и входи́ть, и́бо кто мо́жет управля́ть сим наро́дом Твои́м вели́ким?

Then God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life — but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king —

И сказа́л Бог Соломо́ну: за то, что э́то бы́ло на се́рдце твоём, и ты не проси́л бога́тства, име́ния и сла́вы и ду́ши неприя́телей твои́х, и та́кже не проси́л ты мно́гих дней, а проси́л себе́ прему́дрости и зна́ния, что́бы управля́ть наро́дом Мои́м, над кото́рым Я воцари́л тебя́,

wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like.”

прему́дрость и зна́ние даётся тебе́, а бога́тство и име́ние и сла́ву Я дам тебе́ таки́е, подо́бных кото́рым не быва́ло у царе́й пре́жде тебя́ и не бу́дет по́сле тебя́.

So Solomon came to Jerusalem from [c]the high place that was at Gibeon, from before the tabernacle of meeting, and reigned over Israel.

И пришёл Соломо́н с высоты́, что в Гавао́не, от ски́нии собра́ния, в Иерусали́м и ца́рствовал над Изра́илем.

And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.

И набра́л Соломо́н колесни́ц и вса́дников; и бы́ло у него́ ты́сяча четы́реста колесни́ц и двена́дцать ты́сяч вса́дников; и он размести́л их в колесни́чных города́х и при царе́ в Иерусали́ме.

Also the king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as abundant as the sycamores which are in the lowland.

И сде́лал царь серебро́ и зо́лото в Иерусали́ме равноце́нным просто́му ка́мню, а ке́дры, по мно́жеству их, сде́лал равноце́нными сикомо́рам, кото́рые на ни́зких места́х.

And Solomon had horses imported from Egypt and Keveh; the king’s merchants bought them in Keveh at the current price.

Коне́й Соломо́ну приводи́ли из Еги́пта и из Ку́вы; купцы́ ца́рские из Ку́вы получа́ли их за де́ньги.

They also acquired and imported from Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for one hundred and fifty; thus, [d]through their agents, they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria.

Колесни́ца получа́ема и доставля́ема была́ из Еги́пта за шестьсо́т си́клей серебра́, а конь за сто пятьдеся́т. Таки́м же о́бразом они́ рука́ми свои́ми доставля́ли э́то всем царя́м Хетте́йским и царя́м Араме́йским.
