This letter is from Paul, Silas,a and Timothy. We are writing to the church in Thessalonica, to you who belong to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Павал, і Сілуан, і Цімафей — царкве Тэсалонцаў у Богу Айцу нашым і Госпадзе Ісусе Хрысьце:

May God our Fatherb and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

ласка вам і супакой ад Бога Айца нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

Dear brothers and sisters,c we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

Заўсёды павінны мы дзякаваць Богу за вас, браты, як належыцца, бо моцна ўзрастае вера вашая і памнажаецца любоў кожнага адзін да аднаго між усімі вамі,

We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.

так што мы самі хвалімся вамі ў цэрквах Божых дзеля цярплівасьці вашай і веры ў-ва ўсіх перасьледаваньнях вашых і прыгнётах, якія вы пераносіце,

And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering.

на выяўленьне праведнага суду Божага, каб вам быць вартымі Валадарства Божага, дзеля якога і пакутуеце.

In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.

Бо праведна перад Богам аднагарадзіць прыгнётам тым, якія вас прыгнятаюць,

And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels,

а вам, прыгнятаным, — патоляй разам з намі ў адкрыцьці Госпада Ісуса з неба з анёламі сілы Яго,

in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus.

Які ў полымі агню зьдзяйсьняе помсту над тымі, што ня ведаюць Бога і не паслухмяныя Эвангельлю Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста.

They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.

Яны атрымаюць прысуд — вечнае зьнішчэньне, ад аблічча Госпада і ад славы магутнасьці Яго,

When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people — praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him.

калі Ён прыйдзе ўславіцца ў сьвятых Сваіх і стацца дзівосным у дзень той у-ва ўсіх, якія паверылі, бо вы паверылі нашаму сьведчаньню сярод вас.

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

Дзеля гэтага і молімся заўсёды за вас, каб Бог наш зрабіў вас дастойнымі пакліканьня і споўніў з моцаю ўсякае ўпадабаньне добрасьці і справу веры,

Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.d

каб праславілася імя Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста ў вас, і вы — у Ім, паводле ласкі Бога нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.
