Ну вот, мои любимые и желанные братья, мои радость и венок, так и стойте, любимые, в Господе.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters,a stay true to the Lord. I love you and long to see you, dear friends, for you are my joy and the crown I receive for my work.

Эводию и Синтихию прошу думать одно и тоже, будучи в Господе.

Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement.

Да и тебя, истинный сотрудник, прошу помогай им, стоявшим в борьбе за дело Доброй Вести вместе со мной, Климентом и прочими моими сотрудниками, имена которых в книги жизни.

And I ask you, my true partner,b to help these two women, for they worked hard with me in telling others the Good News. They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life.

Всегда радуйтесь, будучи в Господе. И ещё раз скажу: радуйтесь!

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again — rejoice!

Ваша кротость да будет всем известна. Господь близко!

Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.c

Ни о чём не заботьтесь, но во всём — в молитве и в благодарственном прошении открывайте Богу свои просьбы,

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

и мир, подаваемый Богом, превосходящий всякий ум, сохранит ваши сердца и ваши мысли во Христе Иисусе.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

В остальном, братья, имейте мысли о том, что истинно, что достойно чести, что справедливо, что чисто, что располагает к дружбе, что похвально. Одним словом: что есть добродетель и что достойно похвалы, о том и думайте.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

А чему вы научились у меня, что восприняли, что услышали и увидели, то и делайте. И Бог, подающий мир, будет с вами.

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me — everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Я очень обрадовался, будучи в Господе, что вы, наконец, дали расцвести своей заботе обо мне. Понятно, что вы и раньше не переставали обо мне думать, но просто у вас не было к тому удобного случая.

How I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me.

Говорю это, не потому что терплю лишения. Я вполне научился довольствоваться теми условиями, в которых нахожусь.

Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have.

Я умею жить и при скудости, и при избытке, будучи наученным как при всех и во всех обстоятельствах уметь пережить и сытость, и голод, и избыток, и недостаток.

I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.

Я всё в силах пережить в Укрепляющим меня.

For I can do everything through Christ,d who gives me strength.

Но в любом случае, вы хорошо поступили, приняв участие в моих стеснённых обстоятельствах.

Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty.

И вам, филиппийцы, также известно, что в начале проповеди Доброй Вести, когда я ушёл из Македонии, ни одна церковь не приняла участия в моих поступлениях и расходах, кроме вас одних,

As you know, you Philippians were the only ones who gave me financial help when I first brought you the Good News and then traveled on from Macedonia. No other church did this.

так что даже в Фессалоники вы присылали мне на нужду, и один и другой раз.

Even when I was in Thessalonica you sent help more than once.

Это не значит, что я хочу подарков, но я хочу урожая, умножающего вашу прибыль.

I don’t say this because I want a gift from you. Rather, I want you to receive a reward for your kindness.

Что же касается меня, то я всё получил сполна, и имею избыток. Я вполне обеспечен, получив от Епафродита то, что вы послали, словно благоуханный запах, жертву приятную и угодную Богу.

At the moment I have all I need — and more! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God.

А мой Бог восполнит славой всякую вашу нужду по Своему богатству через Христа Иисуса.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Богу же и Отцу нашему слава во веки веков, аминь.

Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.

Приветствуйте каждого святого во Христе Иисусе. Вас приветствуют братья, находящиеся со мной.

Give my greetings to each of God’s holy people — all who belong to Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send you their greetings.

Вас приветствуют все святые, в особенности из дома цезаря.

And all the rest of God’s people send you greetings, too, especially those in Caesar’s household.

Благодать Господа Иисуса Христа да будет с духом вашим.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.e
