Бог, не единожды всяким способом с отцами прежде говоривший через пророков,

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

С нами в последние эти дни говорил через Сына. Бог все отдал Своему наследнику. Для Него Он и само мироздание сотворил.

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

И это Он, Сын, сияющий образ сущности и славы Божьей, держит словом Своей власти весь порядок вещей. Он взял на Себя очищение грехов и сел по правую руку великого Бога на небесах.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Он вознесся высоко над ангелами. Имя, которое Он унаследовал, прекраснее всех ангельских имен.

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Да и когда сказал Бог кому из ангелов: «Ты Сын Мой. Я ныне родил Тебя»?! И далее: «Я буду Ему Отцом и Он будет Мне Сыном».

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Отсылая Первенца во вселенную, Он говорит: «Поклонитесь Ему, Божьи ангелы!».

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

А об ангелах говорит: «Дуновению Ты уподобил Своих ангелов, пламени огня — Своих слуг».

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

И о Сыне: «Престол Твой, Боже, — во веки веков. Жезл правоты — Царства Твоего жезл.

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Ты любишь правду и не терпишь зла. Радостью отметил Тебя, Боже, Бог Твой, елеем помазал, выделил из окружения Твоего».

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

И далее: «В начале, Господи, Ты основал землю. Дело Твоих рук и небеса.

And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

Они погибнут, а Ты остаешься. Напрочь обветшают, как одежда,

They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

И, как плащ, скатаешь их, и будет им перемена. Но Ты все тот же, и течение Твоих лет не прервется».

And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Когда сказал Бог кому из ангелов: «Сядь по правую Мою руку, пока не повергну Твоих врагов Тебе под ноги»?!

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Кто они, все эти духи, если не просто слуги, посланные служить наследникам спасения!

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
