Откровение Иисуса Христа, данное Ему Богом для того, чтобы показать своим слугам, что должно вскоре произойти. Он сообщил это откровение через ангела своему слуге Иоанну,

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

и Иоанн рассказывает сейчас как свидетель обо всем, что он видел, — это слово Божье и свидетельство Иисуса Христа.

Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

Счастлив тот, кто читает, и те, кто слышит эти пророческие слова и бережно хранит их, потому что время уже близко.

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

От Иоанна семи церквам в Aсии. Благодать и мир вам от того, кто есть, кто был и кто будет, и от семи духов, находящихся у Его трона,

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

и от Иисуса Христа, истинного свидетеля, первенца среди воскресших из мертвых и властелина царей земли. Он любит нас и своей кровью освободил нас от наших грехов.

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Он сделал нас царями и священниками своего Бога и Отца. Ему принадлежат слава и власть навеки! Aминь.

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

И вот, Он придет, окруженный облаками, и все увидят Его собственными глазами, включая и тех, которые Его пронзили, и все народы земли будут рыдать перед Ним. Это действительно будет так, аминь!

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

— Я Aльфа и Омега! — говорит Господь Бог. — Я тот, кто есть, Я тот, кто был, и Я тот, кто будет, Вседержитель!

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Я, Иоанн, — ваш брат и соучастник в страдании, в царстве и терпении в Иисусе. Находясь в заключении на острове, называемом Патмос, за Божье cлово и за свидетельство об Иисусе,

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

в день Господа я был в Духе и в этом состоянии услышал позади себя громкий, как труба, голос.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Голос сказал мне: — Запиши в книгу все, что ты видишь, и пошли семи церквам: в Эфес, Смирну, Пергам, Фиатиры, Сарды, Филадельфию и Лаодикию.

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Я обернулся на голос, который говорил со мной, и увидел семь золотых светильников.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Среди светильников стоял некто похожий на Сына Человеческого. Он был одет в длинную до земли мантию и опоясан по груди золотым поясом.

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Волосы Его были белыми, как отбеленная шерсть и как снег, а глаза были как пылающий огонь;

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

ноги Его были как раскаленная в плавильне бронза, и голос Его напоминал рев водопада.

And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Он держал в правой руке семь звезд, из Его рта выходил обоюдоострый меч, а лицо Его было как ярко сияющее солнце.

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Когда я Его увидел, то упал к Его ногам как мертвый. Он положил на меня свою правую руку и сказал: — Не бойся, Я первый и Я последний,

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Я жив! Я был мертв, но вот, Я навеки жив! У Меня ключи от смерти и ада!

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

— Напиши обо всем, что ты увидел, что происходит сейчас и что произойдет потом.

Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

Тайна семи звезд, которые ты видел в Моей правой руке, и семи золотых светильников такова: семь звезд — это ангелы семи церквей, а семь светильников — это сами семь церквей.

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
