Ты должен учить тому, что соответствует здравому учению.

As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching.

Учи пожилых людей быть сдержанными, серьезными, благоразумными и подавать пример здравой веры, любви и терпения.

Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience.

Также пожилым женщинам советуй вести себя благопристойно, не заниматься сплетнями и не увлекаться вином. Они должны учить добру,

Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers.a Instead, they should teach others what is good.

наставлять молодых любить мужей и детей,

These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children,

уметь владеть собой, быть целомудренными, хорошими хозяйками, быть добрыми и послушными своим мужьям, чтобы Божье слово не было опорочено.

to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes,b to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.

От молодых людей тоже требуй умения владеть собой.

In the same way, encourage the young men to live wisely.

И сам всегда будь примером доброго поведения. Учи с прямотой и серьезностью,

And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.

в логичных и безупречных выражениях, чтобы любой противник устыдился, не имея повода сказать о нас что-либо плохое.

Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.

Учи рабов быть послушными своим хозяевам во всем, чтобы они старались быть услужливыми и не возражали им,

Slaves must always obey their masters and do their best to please them. They must not talk back

чтобы не крали, но проявляли себя как люди, на которых можно положиться. Пусть они поступают так, чтобы все видели, как прекрасно учение нашего Спасителя Бога.

or steal, but must show themselves to be entirely trustworthy and good. Then they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive in every way.

Ведь явилась Божья благодать, спасительная для всех людей.

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.

Она учит нас отвергать безбожие и земные страсти, учит нас жить в этом мире, умея владеть собой, честно и благочестиво,

And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

ожидая осуществления благословенной надежды — славного пришествия великого Бога и Спасителя нашего Иисуса Христа.

while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.

Христос отдал себя за нас, чтобы искупить нас от всех беззаконий и очистить нас, чтобы мы стали Его собственным народом, жаждущим делать добро.

He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

Этому ты должен учить. Ободряй и обличай как человек, обладающий властью, и не позволяй никому смотреть на тебя с пренебрежением.

You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when necessary, so don’t let anyone disregard what you say.
