And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.

And the tenants took his servants and beat one, killed another, and stoned another.
But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business,
But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”
And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.
Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
And they were very sorrowful and began to say to him one after another, “Is it I, Lord?”
And when he went out to the entrance, another servant girl saw him, and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread.
But they kept silent, for on the way they had argued with one another about who was the greatest.
Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her,
and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
And they discussed it with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

Again he sent to them another servant, and they struck him on the head and treated him shamefully.
And he sent another, and him they killed. And so with many others: some they beat, and some they killed.
But those tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
28 And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”
And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”
They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?”
“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’”
So also the chief priests with the scribes mocked him to one another, saying, “He saved others; he cannot save himself.
And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?”
12 After these things he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country.
When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”
And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
6 On another Sabbath, he entered the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was withered.
But they were filled with fury and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.

calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to the Lord, saying, “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?”
And when the men had come to him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to you, saying, ‘Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?’”
They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, “‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’
He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and they marveled, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that he commands even winds and water, and they obey him?”
And they went on to another village.
To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
Yet another said, “I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.”
1 In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
