And much discussion having taken place, Peter, standing up, said to them, Brethren, *ye* know that from the earliest days God amongst you chose that the nations by my mouth should hear the word of the glad tidings and believe.
And having taken hold on him they brought [him] to Areopagus, saying, Might we know what this new doctrine which is spoken by thee [is]?
For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears. We wish therefore to know what these things may mean.
But the wicked spirit answering said to them, Jesus I know, and Paul I am acquainted with; but *ye*, who are ye?
whom having brought together, and those who wrought in such things, he said, Men, ye know that our well-living arises from this work,
Different persons therefore cried out some different thing; for the assembly was tumultuous, and the most did not know for what cause they had come together.
And the townclerk, having quieted the crowd, said, Ephesians, what man is there then who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple-keeper of Artemis the great, and of the [image] which fell down from heaven?
And when they were come to him, he said to them, *Ye* know how I was with you all the time from the first day that I arrived in Asia,
And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom [of God], shall see my face no more.
[For] *I* know [this,] that there will come in amongst you after my departure grievous wolves, not sparing the flock;
Yourselves know that these hands have ministered to my wants, and to those who were with me.
take these and be purified with them, and pay their expenses, that they may have their heads shaved; and all will know that [of those things] of which they have been informed about thee nothing is [true]; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, keeping the law.
And different persons cried some different thing in the crowd. But he, not being able to know the certainty on account of the uproar, commanded him to be brought into the fortress.
37 But as he was about to be led into the fortress, Paul says to the chiliarch, Is it allowed me to say something to thee? And he said, Dost thou know Greek?
And he said, The God of our fathers has chosen thee beforehand to know his will, and to see the just one, and to hear a voice out of his mouth;
And *I* said, Lord, they themselves know that *I* was imprisoning and beating in every synagogue those that believe on thee;
And on the morrow, desirous to know the certainty [of the matter] why he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him, and commanded the chief priests and all the council to meet, and having brought Paul down set him before them.
And desiring to know the charge on which they accused him, I brought him down to their council;
having commanded his accusers to come to thee;] of whom thou canst thyself, in examining [him], know the certainty of all these things of which we accuse him.
As thou mayest know that there are not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem,
My manner of life then from my youth, which from its commencement was passed among my nation in Jerusalem, know all the Jews,
King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.
But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth upon those who do such things.
Now we know that whatever the things the law says, it speaks to those under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God.
Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves bondmen for obedience, ye are bondmen to him whom ye obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
For we know that the law is spiritual: but *I* am fleshly, sold under sin.
For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, good does not dwell: for to will is there with me, but to do right [I find] not.
For we know that the whole creation groans together and travails in pain together until now.
And in like manner the Spirit joins also its help to our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for as is fitting, but the Spirit itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered.
28 But we *do* know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose.
God has not cast away his people whom he foreknew. Know ye not what the scripture says in [the history of] Elias, how he pleads with God against Israel?
I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself; except to him who reckons anything to be unclean, to that man [it is] unclean.
But I know that, coming to you, I shall come in [the] fulness of [the] blessing of Christ.
Yes, I baptised also the house of Stephanas; for the rest I know not if I have baptised any other.
For I did not judge [it well] to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and *him* crucified.
But *we* have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which [is] of God, that we may know the things which have been freely given to us of God:
But [the] natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him; and he cannot know [them] because they are spiritually discerned;
16 Do ye not know that ye are [the] temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?
but I will come quickly to you, if the Lord will; and I will know, not the word of those that are puffed up, but the power.
Your boasting [is] not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
Do ye not then know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy of [the] smallest judgments?
Do ye not know that we shall judge angels? and not then matters of this life?
Do ye not know that unrighteous [persons] shall not inherit [the] kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who make women of themselves, nor who abuse themselves with men,
Do ye not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then, taking the members of the Christ, make [them] members of a harlot? Far be the thought.
Do ye not know that he [that is] joined to the harlot is one body? for the two, he says, shall be one flesh.
Do ye not know that your body is [the] temple of the Holy Spirit which [is] in you, which ye have of God; and ye are not your own?
1 But concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know, (for we all have knowledge: knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.
If any one think he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know [it].
-- concerning then the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol [is] nothing in [the] world, and that there [is] no other God save one.
Do ye not know that they who labour [at] sacred things eat of the [offerings offered in the] temple; they that attend at the altar partake with the altar?
