So this Sheshbazzar came and laid the foundations of the Temple of God in Jerusalem. The people have been working on it ever since, though it is not yet completed.’
The Temple was completed on March 12, during the sixth year of King Darius’s reign.
At last the wall was completed to half its height around the entire city, for the people had worked with enthusiasm.
