I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not; if another come in his own name, him ye will receive.
How can ye believe, who receive glory one of another, and seek not the glory which [comes] from God alone?

They said therefore to one another, Let us not rend it, but let us cast lots for it, whose it shall be; that the scripture might be fulfilled which says, They parted my garments among themselves, and on my vesture they cast lots. The soldiers therefore did these things.
And again another scripture says, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
Verily, verily, I say to thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst where thou desiredst; but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and bring thee where thou dost not desire.
For it is written in [the] book of Psalms, Let his homestead become desolate, and let there be no dweller in it; and, Let another take his overseership.
And they were all amazed and in perplexity, saying one to another, What would this mean?

thou then that teachest another, dost thou not teach thyself? thou that preachest not to steal, dost thou steal?
so then, the husband being alive, she shall be called an adulteress if she be to another man; but if the husband should die, she is free from the law, so as not to be an adulteress, though she be to another man.
So that, my brethren, *ye* also have been made dead to the law by the body of the Christ, to be to another, who has been raised up from among [the] dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.
but I see another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members.
Or has not the potter authority over the clay, out of the same lump to make one vessel to honour, and another to dishonour?
