And the child grew and waxed strong [in spirit], filled with wisdom, and God's grace was upon him.
And all bore witness to him, and wondered at the words of grace which were coming out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this the son of Joseph?
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we have contemplated his glory, a glory as of an only-begotten with a father), full of grace and truth;
for of his fulness we all have received, and grace upon grace.
For the law was given by Moses: grace and truth subsists through Jesus Christ.

But law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded,
in order that, even as sin has reigned in [the power of] death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 What then shall we say? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound?
For sin shall not have dominion over *you*, for ye are not under law but under grace.
15 What then? should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Far be the thought.
Thus, then, in the present time also there has been a remnant according to election of grace.
But if by grace, no longer of works: since [otherwise] grace is no more grace.
For I say, through the grace which has been given to me, to every one that is among you, not to have high thoughts above what he should think; but to think so as to be wise, as God has dealt to each a measure of faith.
But having different gifts, according to the grace which has been given to us, whether [it be] prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;
But I have written to you the more boldly, [brethren,] in part, as putting you in mind, because of the grace given to me by God,
But the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen.

4 I thank my God always about you, in respect of the grace of God given to you in Christ Jesus;
10 According to the grace of God which has been given to me, as a wise architect, I have laid the foundation, but another builds upon it. But let each see how he builds upon it.
But by God's grace I am what I am; and his grace, which [was] towards me, has not been vain; but I have laboured more abundantly than they all, but not *I*, but the grace of God which [was] with me.

12 For our boasting is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and sincerity before God, (not in fleshly wisdom but in God's grace,) we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly towards you.
so that on the contrary ye should rather shew grace and encourage, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with excessive grief.
For all things [are] for your sakes, that the grace abounding through the many may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
1 But [as] fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:

but even as ye abound in every way, in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in love from you to us, that ye may abound in this grace also.
