On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work.

And God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because it was the day when he rested from all his work of creation.

Gen 4:12

No longer will the ground yield good crops for you, no matter how hard you work! From now on you will be a homeless wanderer on the earth.”

Lamech named his son Noah, for he said, “May he bring us relief from our work and the painful labor of farming this ground that the LORD has cursed.”

Gen 29:15

Laban said to him, “You shouldn’t work for me without pay just because we are relatives. Tell me how much your wages should be.”

Gen 29:18

Since Jacob was in love with Rachel, he told her father, “I’ll work for you for seven years if you’ll give me Rachel, your younger daughter, as my wife.”

Gen 29:19

“Agreed!” Laban replied. “I’d rather give her to you than to anyone else. Stay and work with me.”

Gen 29:27

“But wait until the bridal week is over; then we’ll give you Rachel, too — provided you promise to work another seven years for me.”

So Jacob agreed to work seven more years. A week after Jacob had married Leah, Laban gave him Rachel, too.

Lev 23:25

You must do no ordinary work on that day. Instead, you are to present special gifts to the LORD.”

Lev 23:28

Do no work during that entire day because it is the Day of Atonement, when offerings of purification are made for you, making you right with the LORD your God.

Lev 23:30

And I will destroy anyone among you who does any work on that day.

Lev 23:31

You must not do any work at all! This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation wherever you live.

Lev 23:35

On the first day of the festival you must proclaim an official day for holy assembly, when you do no ordinary work.

Lev 23:36

For seven days you must present special gifts to the LORD. The eighth day is another holy day on which you present your special gifts to the LORD. This will be a solemn occasion, and no ordinary work may be done that day.

Lev 26:20

All your work will be for nothing, for your land will yield no crops, and your trees will bear no fruit.

Num 4:27

Aaron and his sons will direct the Gershonites regarding all their duties, whether it involves moving the equipment or doing other work. They must assign the Gershonites responsibility for the loads they are to carry.
