Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,

І было, што па сьмерці Масея, слугі СПАДАРОВАГА, сказаў СПАДАР Ігошуі Нунянку, служцу Масеяваму, кажучы:

Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

«Масей, слуга Мой, мертвы; дык устань, перайдзі Ёрдан гэты, ты а ўвесь люд гэты, да зямлі, каторую Я даю ім, сыном Ізраелявым.

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

Кажнае месца, на каторае ступе ступа ног вашых, Я вам даў яго, як Я сказаў Масею:

From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

Ад пустыні й Лібану гэтага аж да ракі вялікае, ракі Еўфрату, усю зямлю Гэцічаў; і аж да вялікага мора на захад сонца будуць граніцы вашы.

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Ніхто ня ўстое перад табою ўсі дні жыцьця твайго; як Я быў із Масеям, так буду і з табою; не адступлюся ад цябе і не пакіну Цябе.

Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Будзь дужы а адважны, бо ты люду гэтаму перадасі на спадак гэтую зямлю, каторую Я прысягаў айцом іхным даць ім.

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

Толькі будзь дужы а вельмі адважны, каб рупіцца паўніць подле ўсёга Права, каторае расказаў табе Масей, слуга Мой; не адхікайся ад яго ані направа, ані налева, каб мець дасьпех у вусім, куды ты пойдзеш.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Хай не аддаляецца кніга Права гэтая ад вуснаў тваіх; і разважай над ёй удзень і ночы, каб захаваць і рабіць усе, што ў ёй напісана, бо тады пашчасьце табе ў дарогах тваіх, і тады будзеш мець дасьпех.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Ці не расказаў Я табе: будзь дужы а адважны, ня бойся а не лякайся, бо з табою СПАДАР, Бог твой, усюдых, куды пойдзеш».

Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

І расказаў Ігошуа нагляднікам люду, кажучы:

Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.

«Прайдзіце ўнутры табару й раскажыце люду, кажучы: "Прыгатуйце сабе ежы, бо ўжо за тры дні вы пярэйдзеце Ёрдан гэты, каб прыйсьці ўзяць у дзяржаньне зямлю, каторую СПАДАР, Бог ваш, даець вам на спадак"».

And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,

А плямені Рувінаваму, Ґадоваму а палавіцы плямені Манасавага сказаў Ігошуа, кажучы:

Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.

«Помні слова, што расказаў вам Масей, слуга СПАДАРОЎ, кажучы: "СПАДАР, Бог ваш, супакоіў вас і даў вам зямлю гэтую".

Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;

Жонкі вашыя, дзецяняты вашыя і статак вашы няхай прабываюць у зямлі, каторую даў вам Масей за Ёрданом; а вы перайдзіце ўзброіўшыся перад братамі сваімі, усі дужасілы, і памажыце ім,

Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD'S servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.

Пакуль не супакое СПАДАР братоў вашых, як і вас, і апануюць і яны зямлю, каторую СПАДАР, Бог ваш, даець ім. Тады зьверніцеся да спадку вашага й дзяржыце зямлю, каторую Масей, слуга СПАДАРОЎ, даў вам за Ёрданом на ўсход сон-ца».

And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.

І адказалі яны Ігошуу, кажучы: «Усе, што ты расказаў нам, зробім, і куды пашлеш нас, пойдзем.

According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.

Подле ўсяго як слухалі мы Масея, так будзем слухаць і цябе; адно хай будзе СПАДАР, Бог твой, з табою, як Ён быў з Масеям.

Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.

Кажны, хто спрацівіцца вуснам тваім і не паслухае словаў тваіх у вусім, што ты раскажаш яму, памрэць. Адно будзь дужы а адважны!»
