Вы слышали, что сказано древним: «не убивай, кто же убьет, подлежит суду».

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

“You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’

“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,a and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’

“You have heard that it was said to those [d]of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’

“You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’c

Ye have heard that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not kill; but whosoever shall kill shall be subject to the judgment.
