Dies ist das Wort des HERRN, das geschehen ist zu Hosea, dem Sohn Beeris, zur Zeit des Usija, Jotam, Ahas und Hiskia, der Könige von Juda, und zur Zeit Jerobeams, des Sohnes des Joasch, des Königs von Israel.

The word of Jehovah that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

Als der HERR anfing zu reden durch Hosea, sprach er zu ihm: Geh hin und nimm ein Hurenweib und Hurenkinder; denn das Land läuft vom HERRN weg der Hurerei nach.

The beginning of the word of Jehovah through Hosea. And Jehovah said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms, and children of whoredoms; for the land is entirely given up to whoredom, away from Jehovah.

Und er ging hin und nahm Gomer, die Tochter Diblajims, zur Frau; die ward schwanger und gebar ihm einen Sohn.

And he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived and bore him a son.

Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Nenne ihn Jesreel; denn es ist nur noch eine kurze Zeit, dann will ich die Blutschuld von Jesreel heimsuchen am Hause Jehu und will mit dem Königreich des Hauses Israel ein Ende machen.

And Jehovah said unto him, Call his name Jizreel; for yet a little, and I will visit the blood of Jizreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.

Zur selben Zeit will ich den Bogen Israels zerbrechen in der Ebene Jesreel.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jizreel.

Und sie ward abermals schwanger und gebar eine Tochter. Und er sprach zu ihm: Nenne sie Lo-Ruhama; denn ich will mich nicht mehr über das Haus Israel erbarmen, sondern ich will sie wegwerfen.

And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And he said unto him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, so that I should pardon them.

Doch will ich mich erbarmen über das Haus Juda und will ihnen helfen durch den HERRN, ihren Gott; ich will ihnen aber nicht helfen durch Bogen, Schwert, Rüstung, Roß und Wagen.

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by Jehovah their God; and I will not save them by bow, or by sword, or by battle, [or] by horses, or by horsemen.

Und als sie Lo-Ruhama entwöhnt hatte, ward sie wieder schwanger und gebar einen Sohn.

And she weaned Lo-ruhamah; and she conceived and bore a son;

Und er sprach: Nenne ihn Lo-Ammi; denn ihr seid nicht mein Volk, so will ich auch nicht der Eure sein. d. . Nicht mein Volk

and he said, Call his name Lo-ammi; for ye are not my people, and I will not be for you.

[2:1] Es wird aber die Zahl der Israeliten sein wie der Sand am Meer, den man weder messen noch zählen kann. Und es soll geschehen, anstatt daß man zu ihnen sagt: «Ihr seid nicht mein Volk», wird man zu ihnen sagen: «O ihr Kinder des lebendigen Gottes!»

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea which cannot be measured or numbered; and it shall come to pass, [that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Sons of the living God.

[2:2] Denn es werden die Judäer und die Israeliten zusammenkommen und werden sich ein gemeinsames Haupt erwählen und aus dem Lande heraufziehen; denn der Tag Jesreels wird ein großer Tag sein.

And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up out of the land: for great is the day of Jizreel.
