Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

Павал і Сілуан, і Цімахвей — царкве тэссалонцаў у Богу Бацьку нашым і Госпадзе Ісусе Хрысьце:

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Багадаць вам і мір ад Бога Бацькі нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater;

Мы заўсёды павінны дзякаваць Богу за вас, браты, чаму вы і адпавядаеце, бо надзвычайна ўзрастае вера вашая, і памнажаецца любоў кожнага з усіх вас аднаго да аднаго,

therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.

так што мы самі хвалімся вамі ў цэрквах Бога з прычыны вашай цярплівасьці і веры ва ўсіх ганеньнях вашых і нягодах, якія вы пераносіце:

This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering.

(што служыць) доказам праведнасьці суда Бога, каб вам быць годнымі валадарства Бога, дзеля якога і паку́туеце,

For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

таму што перад Богам ёсьць праведна аддаць цяжкасьцям пакараньня тых, што чыняць вам пакуты,

and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire,

а вам, (цяпер) прыгне́чаным, даць патолю разам з намі ў зьяўленьні Госпада Ісуса зь Неба з Ангеламі сілы Ягонай,

dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

Які ў палымяным агні аддае помсту тым, якія ня шануюць Бога і ня ўпакорваюцца Эвангельлю Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста,

These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

якія прымуць кару — пагібель вечную ад аблічча Госпада і ад славы магутнасьці Ягонай,

when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed — for our testimony to you was believed.

калі Ён прыйдзе ў Дзень Той, каб праславіцца ў сьвятых Сваіх і стацца дзівосным ва ўсіх верніках (і ў вас), таму што вы паверылі сьведчаньню нашаму для вас.

To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power,

Дзеля гэтага і молімся заўсёды за вас, каб Бог наш зрабіў вас вартымі прыкліка́ньня і ўчыніў усякую дабразычлівасьць дабрыні і ўчынкі веры ў сіле,

so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

каб было ўслаўлена Імя Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста ў вас, і вы ў Ім, дзеля Багадаці Бога нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.
