Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

Павал, Апостал Ісуса Хрыста паводля волі Бога, і Цімахвей, брат

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

тым, што ў Калоссах, сьвятым і верным братам у Хрысьце: Багадаць вам і мір ад Бога Бацькі нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

Заўсёды дзякуем Богу і Бацьку Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста молячыся аб вас,

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints;

пачуўшы пра веру вашую ў Хрыста Ісуса і любоў да ўсіх сьвятых,

because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel

дзеля надзеі на прыгатаванае вам у Нябёсах, пра што вы раней пачулі ў слове праўды Эвангельля,

which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;

якое ёсьць у вас, як і ва ўсім сьвеце, і прыносіць плод, як і паміж вамі, з таго дня, як вы пачулі і пазналі Багадаць Бога ў праўдзе,

just as you learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf,

як і навучыліся ад Эпатраса, любаснага супрацоўніка нашага, які ёсьць верны для вас служка Хрыста,

and he also informed us of your love in the Spirit.

які і паведаміў нам пра вашую любоў у Духу.

For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

Таму і мы з таго дня, як пачулі (пра гэта), ня перастаём маліцца за вас і прасіць, каб вы былí напоўнены пазнаньнем волі Ягонай ва ўсякай мудрасьці і разуменьні духовым,

so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

каб паступаць вам годна Госпаду: ва ўсім дагаджаючы (Яму і) прыносячы плод у кожнай добрай справе, і ўзрастаючы ў пазнаньні Бога.

strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously

Ва ўсім узмацняючыся ў сіле паводля магутнасьці славы Ягонай, дзеля ўсялякай вытрываласьці і доўгацярплівасьці з радасьцю,

giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.

дзякуючы Ба́цьку, Які зрабіў нас годнымі да ўдзелу ў спадчыне сьвятых у Сьвятле,

For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,

Які збавіў нас ад улады цемры і перанёс у Валадарства Сына любові Сваёй,

in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

у Якім мы маем адкупленьне праз Кроў Ягоную, і дараваньне грахоў,

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

Які ёсьць Абраз Бога нябачнага, Які народжаны (перш за) усякае стварэньне,

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created through Him and for Him.

таму што Ім створана ўсё, што на Нябёсах і што на зямлі, бачнае і нябачнае, ці то пасады ці валадараньні, ці то начальствы ці ўлады — усё празь Яго і для Яго створана;

He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

і Ён ёсьць перад усім, і ўсё Ім стаіць.

He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

І Ён ёсьць Галава цела — царквы, Ён ёсьць Пачатак, Першынец зь мёртвых, каб ува ўсім Ён трымаў пяршынство,

For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,

таму што заўгодна было (Богу), каб у Ім споўнілася ўся паўната,

and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

і каб празь Яго поўнасьцю прымірыць усё з Сабой, уціхамірыўшы празь Яго, праз Кроў крыжа Ягонага, і тое, што на зямлі, і тое, што на Нябёсах.

And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds,

І вас, якія некалі былі адчу́жанымі і ворагамі праз схільнасьць у розуме да ліхіх учынкаў, дык цяпер Ён поўнасьцю прымірыў

yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach —

у Целе (Сваім). Каб цераз сьмерць Цела Свайго паставіць вас перад Сабой сьвятымі і бяззаганнымі і бяздакорнымі,

if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

калі трываеце ў веры цьвёрда і няпарушна і ня адступаеце ад надзеі Эвангельля, якое вы пачулі і якое было апавяшчона ўсяму стварэньню пад небам, якога я, Павал, стаўся служкай.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.

Цяпер я радуюся ў маіх пакутах за вас і дапаўняю нястачу му́каў Хрыстовых у целе маім за цела Ягонае, якое ёсьць царква,

Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God,

якой я стаўся служкай у домакіраваньні Бога, што даручана мне дзеля вас, каб выканаць Слова Бога,

that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints,

тайну, укрытую ад народаў у вяках, але цяпер адкрытую сьвятым Ягоным,

to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

якім Бог захацеў паказаць, якое багацьце славы тайны гэтай для паганаў, якая ёсьць Хрыстос у вас, надзея славы,

We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

Якога мы абвяшчаем, абразумляючы ўсякага чалавека і вучачы ўсякага чалавека ўсякай мудрасьці, каб прадставіць усякага чалавека дасканалым у Хрысьце Ісусе;

For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.

дзеля таго я і працую, змагаючыся Ягонай сілай, якая дзейнічае ўва мне магутна.
