This letter is from Paul, Silas,a and Timothy. We are writing to the church in Thessalonica, to you who belong to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Павел, Сілуан і Цімафей да Касцёла тэсаланікійцаў у Богу, Айцу нашым, і Пану Езусе Хрысце:

May God our Fatherb and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

ласка вам і спакой ад Бога Айца нашага і Пана Езуса Хрыста.

Dear brothers and sisters,c we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

Мы павінны заўсёды дзякаваць Богу за вас, браты, і гэта слушна, таму што ўзрастае вера вашая і павялічваецца любоў кожнага з усіх вас адзін да аднаго.

We proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.

Таму мы самі ганарымся вамі сярод Касцёлаў Божых з прычыны вытрываласці вашай і веры ва ўсіх ганеннях вашых і ўціску, якія вы зносіце.

And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering.

Гэта доказ справядлівага Божага суда, каб вы аказаліся вартымі Божага Валадарства, дзеля якога і церпіце.

In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.

Бог справядліва адплаціць уціскам тым, хто вас уціскаў.

And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels,

І вам, якія церпіце ўціск, а таксама нам дасць адпачыць падчас аб’яўлення з нябёсаў Пана Езуса разам з анёламі моцы Ягонай.

in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus.

Полымем агню Ён пакарае тых, хто не пазнаў Бога і не слухаецца Евангелля Пана нашага Езуса.

They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.

Яны будуць пакараныя вечнай пагібеллю і не змогуць убачыць аблічча Пана і хвалы моцы Ягонай,

When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people — praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about him.

калі Ён прыйдзе ў той дзень праславіцца ў сваіх святых ды здзівіць усіх, хто паверыў. Вы ж прынялі з вераю нашае сведчанне.

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

Мы заўсёды молімся за вас, каб наш Бог прызнаў вас годнымі паклікання і з моцаю здзейсніў усялякі добры намер і справу веры,

Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.d

каб праславілася імя Пана нашага Езуса ў вас, а вы — у Ім, паводле ласкі Бога нашага і Пана Езуса Хрыста.
