1 John

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning,a whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.

Тое, што было ад пачатку, што мы чулі пра Слова жыцця, што бачылі на свае вочы, на што глядзелі і да чаго дакраналіся нашыя рукі, —

This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us.

бо жыццё аб’явілася, і мы бачылі, і сведчым, і абвяшчаем вам гэтае вечнае жыццё, якое было ў Айца і аб’явілася нам, —

We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

тое, што мы бачылі і чулі, абвяшчаем і вам, каб і вы мелі еднасць з намі. А нашая еднасць ёсць з Айцом і Сынам Ягоным, Езусам Хрыстом.

We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy.b

Гэта пішам мы, каб радасць нашая была поўнай.

This is the message we heard from Jesusc and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.

Навіну, якую мы пачулі ад Яго, абвяшчаем вам, што Бог ёсць Святло і няма ў Ім ніякай цемры.

So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.

Калі мы кажам, што маем еднасць з Ім, а ходзім у цемры, то мы хлусім і паступаем не па праўдзе.

But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

А калі ходзім у святле, як Ён ёсць у святле, то маем еднасць паміж сабою, і кроў Езуса, Сына Ягонага, ачышчае нас ад усялякага граху.

If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

Калі кажам, што не маем граху, ашукваем саміх сябе, і няма ў нас праўды.

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

Калі ж вызнаём нашыя грахі, то Ён, верны і справядлівы, адпусціць нам грахі і ачысціць нас ад усялякай несправядлівасці.

If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.

Калі кажам, што мы не зграшылі, то робім Яго ілгуном, і няма ў нас Ягонага слова.
