Словы Амоса, які быў сярод пастухоў з Тэкуа; што бачыў ён адносна Ізраэля ў дні Озіі, цара Юды, і ў дні Ерабаама, сына Ёаса, цара Ізраэля, і за два гады перад землятрусам.

The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

І сказаў ён: «Госпад грыміць з Сіёна і з Ерузаліма падае голас Свой; і бядуюць лугі пастухоў, і вяршыня Кармэля стогне.

And he said, Jehovah roareth from Zion, and uttereth his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withereth.

Вось што кажа Госпад: “З прычыны трох злачынстваў Дамаска і дзеля чатырох не адмяню слова, таму што малацілі жалезнымі калясніцамі Галаад.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke [my sentence], because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.

Пашлю агонь на дом Газаэля, і паглыне ён палацы Бэнадада.

And I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad.

І сатру запоры Дамаска, і знішчу жыхароў з даліны Авэн і трымаючага скіпетр з Бэтэдэна, а народ сірыйскі заведзены будзе ў палон у Кір”, — кажа Госпад.

And I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Beth-Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith Jehovah.

Гэта кажа Госпад: “Дзеля трох злачынстваў Газы і з прычыны чатырох не адмяню слова, таму што яны вывелі ўсіх, як палонных, каб перадаць іх у Эдом.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Gazah, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver [them] up to Edom.

Ды пашлю агонь на муры Газы, і паглыне ён палацы яго.

And I will send a fire on the wall of Gazah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

Выгублю жыхара з Азота і трымаючага скіпетр з Аскалона, павярну руку Сваю супраць Акарона, і прападзе астатак філістынцаў”, — кажа Госпад Бог.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn my hand against Ekron; and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Гэта кажа Госпад: “Дзеля трох злачынстваў Тыра і з прычыны чатырох не адмяню слова, таму што яны перадалі ўсіх, як палонных, у Эдом і не памяталі пра братэрскае пагадненне.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant.

Сашлю агонь на муры Тыра, і паглыне ён яго палацы”.

And I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

Гэта кажа Госпад: “Дзеля трох злачынстваў Эдома і з прычыны чатырох не адмяню слова, таму што ён пераследаваў брата свайго мечам, і парушыў пачуццё міласэрнасці, і безупынна трываў у гневе сваім, і гнеў свой захаваў да канца.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all pity; and his anger did tear continually, and he kept his wrath for ever.

Пашлю агонь на Тэман, і паглыне палацы Босры”.

And I will send a fire upon Teman, and it shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

Гэта кажа Госпад: “Дзеля трох злачынстваў Амона і з прычыны чатырох не адмяню слова, таму што яны рассякалі цяжарных у Галаадзе, каб пашырыць свае межы.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border.

Дык распалю агонь на мурах Рабы, і паглыне ён яго палацы сярод голасу ў дзень бою ды сярод віхуры ў дзень буры;

And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind.

і пойдзе цар іх у палон, ён і князі разам”, — кажа Госпад.

And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith Jehovah.
