1 Thessalonians

Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus to the assembly of Thessalonians in God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace.

Павел, Сілуан і Цімафей да Касцёла тэсаланікійцаў у Богу Айцу і Пану, Езусе Хрысце: ласка вам і спакой.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you at our prayers,

За ўсіх вас заўсёды дзякуем Богу, згадваючы вас у нашых малітвах,

remembering unceasingly your work of faith, and labour of love, and enduring constancy of hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

няспынна памятаючы пра вашую справу веры і працу любові, і пра цярплівую надзею на Пана нашага Езуса Хрыста перад Богам і Айцом нашым,

knowing, brethren beloved by God, your election.

ведаючы, умілаваныя Богам браты, пра выбранне вашае.

For our glad tidings were not with you in word only, but also in power, and in [the] Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what we were among you for your sakes:

Бо нашае Евангелле не было да вас толькі ў слове, але і ў сіле, і ў Духу Святым, і з вялікім перакананнем. Вы ведаеце, якімі мы былі для вас, будучы з вамі.

and ye became our imitators, and of the Lord, having accepted the word in much tribulation with joy of [the] Holy Spirit,

Вы пачалі наследаваць нас і Пана, прыняўшы слова ў вялікім уціску з радасцю Духа Святога,

so that ye became models to all that believe in Macedonia and in Achaia:

так што сталіся вы ўзорам для ўсіх веруючых у Македоніі і Ахаі.

for the word of the Lord sounded out from you, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith which [is] towards God has gone abroad, so that we have no need to say anything;

Дзякуючы вам прагучала слова Пана не толькі ў Македоніі і Ахаі, але і ў кожным месцы распаўсюджвалася вашая вера ў Бога, так што нам няма патрэбы нешта казаць.

for they themselves relate concerning us what entering in we had to you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,

Яны самі пра нас сведчаць, якім быў наш прыход да вас і як вы, пакінуўшы ідалаў, звярнуліся да Бога, каб служыць жывому і праўдзіваму Богу

and to await his Son from the heavens, whom he raised from among the dead, Jesus, our deliverer from the coming wrath.

і чакаць з нябёсаў Сына Ягонага, якога Ён уваскрасіў, — Езуса, які выбаўляе нас ад надыходзячага гневу.
