1 Thessalonians

Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus to the assembly of Thessalonians in God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace.

Павал і Сілюан і Тыматэй эклезіі Тэссалёнцаў у Богу Айцу і Усеспадару Езусе Хрыстусе. Ласка й супакой вам.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you at our prayers,

Заўсёды Богу дзякуем за ўсіх вас, памятаючы ў нашых малітвах,

remembering unceasingly your work of faith, and labour of love, and enduring constancy of hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

нясупынна прыпамінаючы дзела вашай веры дзейнай любасці ды вытрывалай надзеі на Ўсеспадара нашага Езуса Хрыстуса перад Богам і Айцом нашым;

knowing, brethren beloved by God, your election.

ведаем, браты Богу мілые, аб вашай адзнацы,

For our glad tidings were not with you in word only, but also in power, and in [the] Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what we were among you for your sakes:

нашае бо дабравешчанне у вас было ня толькі ў слове, але і ў сіле, і ў Святым духу ды поўнасьвядоцтвах; вамжа самым ведама, якімі былі мы для вас між вамі.

and ye became our imitators, and of the Lord, having accepted the word in much tribulation with joy of [the] Holy Spirit,

І вы сталіся пасьцежмікамі нашымі ды Усеспадаравымі, прыняўшы слова сярод прыгнобаў з радасьцю Духа Святога,

so that ye became models to all that believe in Macedonia and in Achaia:

так што сталіся наўзорам для ўсіх верных у Макэдоніі й Ахаі.

for the word of the Lord sounded out from you, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith which [is] towards God has gone abroad, so that we have no need to say anything;

Ад вас бо праняслося слова Госпада ня толькі ў Макэдоніі й Ахаі, але й да ўсякіх месцаў дайшла ваша вера ў Бога, так што ўжо няма чаго й даказваць.

for they themselves relate concerning us what entering in we had to you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,

Бо самі яны спавяшчаюць аб нас, якое прыняцьце мы ў вас мелі ды як вы навярнуліся да Бога ад ідалаў, каб служыць Богу жывому й праўдзіваму

and to await his Son from the heavens, whom he raised from among the dead, Jesus, our deliverer from the coming wrath.

і чакаць Сына Ягонага зь неба, якога збудзіў Ён зь мяртвых, Езуса, які выбаўляе нас ад надыходзячага гневу.
