1 Thessalonians

Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus to the assembly of Thessalonians in God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace.

Павел, і Сілуан, і Цімафей Царкве Фесаланікійскай у Богу Айцу і Госпадзе Іісусе Хрысце: благадаць вам і мір ад Бога Айца нашага і Госпада Іісуса Хрыста.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you at our prayers,

Дзякуем Богу заўсёды за ўсіх вас, паміна́ючы вас у малітвах нашых,

remembering unceasingly your work of faith, and labour of love, and enduring constancy of hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

пастаянна па́мятаючы вашу справу веры, і працу любові, і трыва́ласць надзеі на Госпада нашага Іісуса Хрыста перад Богам і Айцом нашым,

knowing, brethren beloved by God, your election.

ведаючы, узлю́бленыя Богам браты, абра́насць вашу;

For our glad tidings were not with you in word only, but also in power, and in [the] Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what we were among you for your sakes:

бо наша дабраве́сце ў вас адбыва́лася не толькі ў слове, але і ў сіле, і ў Святым Духу, і ў поўнай перакана́насці; вы самі ведаеце, якімі мы былí для вас сярод вас.

and ye became our imitators, and of the Lord, having accepted the word in much tribulation with joy of [the] Holy Spirit,

І вы сталі перайма́льнікамі нашымі і Госпада, прыня́ўшы слова ў горасцях многіх з радасцю Духа Святога,

so that ye became models to all that believe in Macedonia and in Achaia:

так што вы сталі ўзорам для ўсіх веруючых у Македоніі і Ахаіі.

for the word of the Lord sounded out from you, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith which [is] towards God has gone abroad, so that we have no need to say anything;

Бо ад вас разне́слася слова Гасподняе не толькі па Македоніі і Ахаіі, але і ва ўсіх краях вера ваша ў Бога стала вядомай, так што ў нас няма патрэбы пра гэта гаварыць.

for they themselves relate concerning us what entering in we had to you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God,

Бо самі яны пра нас расказваюць, якім быў наш прыход да вас і як вы павярнуліся да Бога ад ідалаў, каб служы́ць Богу жывому і ісціннаму

and to await his Son from the heavens, whom he raised from among the dead, Jesus, our deliverer from the coming wrath.

і чакаць з нябёс Сына Яго, Якога Ён уваскрасіў з мёртвых, Іісуса, Які збаўляе нас ад надыхо́дзячага гневу.
