Вениамин был отцом Белы. Бела был первым сыном Вениамина, Ашбел — вторым, Ахрай — третьим,

And Benjamin became the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

Ноха — четвёртым, а Рафа был пятым сыном Вениамина.

Nohah the fourth and Rapha the fifth.

Сыновьями Белы были: Аддар, Гера, Авиуд,

Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud,

Авишуй, Нееман, Ахоах,

Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,

Гера, Шефуфан и Хурам.

Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.

Вот перечень потомков Аода, которые были вождями своих семей в Геве. Потомками Аода были:

These are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of fathers’ households of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them into exile to Manahath,

Нееман, Ахия и Гера. Гера заставил их оставить свои дома и переселиться в Манахаф. Гера был отцом Уззы и Ахиуда.

namely, Naaman, Ahijah and Gera — he carried them into exile; and he became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.

Шегараим развёлся со своими жёнами Хушимой и Баарой в Моавской земле. После этого он имел детей с другой женой.

Shaharaim became the father of children in the country of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

У Шегараима и его жены Хедеши родились Иовав, Цивия, Меша, Малхам,

By Hodesh his wife he became the father of Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,

Иеуц, Шахия и Мирма. Они были вождями своих семей.

Jeuz, Sachia, Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers’ households.

Шегараим и Хушима имели двух сыновей, которых звали Авитув и Елпаал.

By Hushim he became the father of Abitub and Elpaal.

Сыновьями Елпаала были: Евер, Мишам, Шемер, Верия и Шема. Шемер построил города Он и Лод, а также маленькие города вокруг Лода.

The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with its towns;

Верия и Шема были вождями семей, которые жили в Аиалоне. Эти сыновья прогнали людей, которые жили в Гефе.

and Beriah and Shema, who were heads of fathers’ households of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;

Сыновьями Верии были: Ахио, Шашак, Иремоф,

and Ahio, Shashak and Jeremoth.

Зевадия, Арад, Едер,

Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,

Михаил, Ишфа и Иоха.

Michael, Ishpah and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

Сыновьями Елпаала были: Зевадия, Мешуллам, Хизкий, Хевер,

Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,

Ишмерай, Излия и Иовав.

Ishmerai, Izliah and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

Сыновьями Шимея были: Иаким, Зихрий, Завдий,

Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,

Елиенай, Цилфай, Елиел,

Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,

Адаия, Бераия и Шимраф.

Adaiah, Beraiah and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

Сыновьями Шишака были: Ишпан, Евер, Елиел,

Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,

Авдон, Зихрий, Ханан,

Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,

Ханания, Елам, Антофия,

Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,

Ифдия и Пенуэл.

Iphdeiah and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

Сыновьями Иерохама были: Шамшерай, Шехария, Афалия,

Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,

Иаарешия, Илия и Зихрий.

Jaareshiah, Elijah and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

Все эти люди были вождями своих семей. В семейных летописях они перечислены как вожди, жившие в Иерусалиме.

These were heads of the fathers’ households according to their generations, chief men who lived in Jerusalem.

Иеиел был отцом Гаваона. Он вместе со своей женой Маахой жил в городе Гаваон.

Now in Gibeon, Jeiel, the father of Gibeon lived, and his wife’s name was Maacah;

Старшим сыном Иеила был Авдон. Другие сыновья были: Цур, Кис, Ваал, Нир, Надав,

and his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,

Гедор, Ахио, Зегер и Миклоф.

Gedor, Ahio and Zecher.

Миклоф был отцом Самая. Эти сыновья тоже жили недалеко от своих родственников в Иерусалиме.

Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. And they also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem opposite their other relatives.

Нир был отцом Киса. Кис был отцом Саула. Саул был отцом Ионафана, Мелхисуя, Авинадава и Ешбаала.

Ner became the father of Kish, and Kish became the father of Saul, and Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal.

Сын Ионафана, Мериббаал, был отцом Михи.

The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal became the father of Micah.

Сыновьями Михи были: Пифон, Мелех, Фаарея и Ахаз.

The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, Tarea and Ahaz.

Ахаз был отцом Иоиадда. Иоиадд был отцом Алемефа, Азмавефа и Зимврия. Зимврий был отцом Моцы.

Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza.

Моца был отцом Бинеи. Рефаия был сыном Бинеи. Елеаса был сыном Рефаии. Ацел был сыном Елеасы.

Moza became the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

У Ацела было шесть сыновей: Азрикам, Бохру, Измаил, Шеария, Авдия и Ханан. Все они были детьми Ацела.

Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

У брата Ацела Ешека был несколько сыновей. Вот их имена: Улам был его первенцем, Иеус был вторым сыном, а Елифелет — третьим.

The sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second and Eliphelet the third.

Сыновья Улама были сильными воинами, которые хорошо владели луком и стрелами. У них было много сыновей и внуков — всего сто пятьдесят человек. Все они были потомками Вениамина.

The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons and grandsons, 150 of them. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
