Словы Амоса, што быў [адным] з гадоўцаў авечак у Тэкоа, якія ён бачыў пра Ізраіль у дні Узіі, валадара Юды, і ў дні Ерабаама, валадара Ізраіля, два [гады] перад землятрусам.

The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

І ён сказаў: «ГОСПАД зарыкае з Сыёну і дасьць голас Свой з Ерусаліму, і сялібы пастухоў будуць у жалобе, і высахне вяршыня Кармэлю.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Гэта кажа ГОСПАД: “За тры правіны Дамаску, нават за чатыры, не дарую яму, бо яны малацілі Гілеад зубцамі жалезнымі.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

І Я спашлю агонь на дом Хазаэля, і ён зжарэ палацы Бэн-Гадада.

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad.

І Я разаб’ю засаўкі Дамаску, і вынішчу жыхароў з даліны Авэн і таго, хто трымае скіпетр у Бэт-Эдэне, і народ Сірыі пойдзе ў палон да Кіра, кажа ГОСПАД”.

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

Гэта кажа ГОСПАД: “За тры правіны Газы, нават за чатыры, не дарую ёй, бо яны ўсіх чыста бралі ў палон паланеньнем, каб выдаць іх Эдому.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

І Я спашлю агонь на муры Газы, і ён зжарэ палацы ейныя.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

І Я вынішчу жыхароў Ашдоду і таго, хто трымае скіпетр у Ашкелоне, і павярну руку Маю на Экрон, і загіне рэшта Філістынцаў, кажа Госпад ГОСПАД”.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.

Гэта кажа ГОСПАД: “За тры правіны Тыру, нават за чатыры, не дарую яму, бо яны перадалі іх усіх чыста паланеньнем Эдому і ня памяталі запавету братэрскага.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

І Я спашлю агонь на муры Тыру, і ён зжарэ палацы ягоныя”.

But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.

Гэта кажа ГОСПАД: “За тры правіны Эдому, нават за чатыры, не дарую яму, бо ён перасьледаваў мячом брата свайго, утаймаваў спагадлівасьць сваю, і няспынна разьдзіраў [яго] ў гневе сваім, і лютасьць ягоная трывала заўсёды.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

І Я спашлю агонь на Тэман, і ён зжарэ палацы Боцры”.

But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.

Гэта кажа ГОСПАД: “За тры правіны сыноў Амона, нават за чатыры, не дарую яму, бо яны распорвалі цяжарных у Гілеадзе, каб пашырыць межы свае.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

І Я распалю агонь на мурах Раббы, і ён зжарэ палацы ейныя сярод крыку ў дзень бітвы, сярод віхуры ў дзень буры.

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

І валадар іхні пойдзе ў палон, ён і князі ягоныя разам [з ім], кажа ГОСПАД”.

And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.
