Павал, апостал Ісуса Хрыста з волі Божай, і Цімафей, брат, —

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

тым, што ў Калосах, сьвятым і верным братам у Хрысьце: ласка вам і супакой ад Бога Айца нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дзякуем Богу і Айцу Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста, заўсёды молячыся пра вас,

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

пачуўшы пра веру вашую ў Хрыста Ісуса і пра любоў да ўсіх сьвятых,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

дзеля надзеі, якая вызначана вам у небе, пра што вы раней чулі ў слове праўды Эвангельля,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

якое ёсьць у вас, як і ў-ва ўсім сьвеце, і дае плод, як і між вамі, з таго дня, калі вы пачулі і пазналі ласку Божую ў праўдзе,

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

як і навучыліся ад Эпафраса, улюбёнага таварыша нашага, які ёсьць верным за вас служыцелем Хрыста,

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

які і паведаміў нам пра вашую любоў у духу.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Дзеля гэтага і мы з таго дня, як пачулі, не перастаем маліцца за вас і прасіць, каб вы былі напоўненыя пазнаньнем волі Яго ў-ва ўсякай мудрасьці і разуменьні духоўным,

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

каб вы хадзілі дастойна Госпада, у-ва ўсім дагаджаючы [Яму], даючы плод у кожнай добрай справе і ўзрастаючы ў пазнаньні Бога,

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

дужэючы ўсякаю сілаю паводле магутнасьці славы Яго на ўсякую цярплівасьць і доўгацярплівасьць з радасьцю,

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

дзякуючы Айцу, Які даў нам здольнасьць удзельнічаць у спадчыне сьвятых у сьвятле,

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Які выбавіў нас ад улады цемры і перамясьціў у Валадарства Сына любові Сваёй,

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

у Якім мы маем адкупленьне праз кроў Ягоную і адпушчэньне грахоў.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Ён ёсьць вобраз Бога нябачнага, Першародны ўсякага стварэньня;

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

бо ў Ім створана ўсё, што ў небе і што на зямлі, бачнае і нябачнае: ці то пасады, ці то панаваньні, ці то начальствы, ці то ўлады, — усё праз Яго і для Яго створана;

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

і Ён ёсьць перад усім, і ўсё ў Ім стаіць.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

І Ён ёсьць галава Цела — Царквы; Ён — Пачатак, Першародны з мёртвых, каб быць Яму ў-ва ўсім першым,

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

бо было даспадобы, каб у Ім жыла ўсякая поўня

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

і каб праз Яго пагадзіць з Сабою ўсё, учыніўшы праз Яго, праз кроў крыжа Ягонага мір і з тым, што на зямлі, і з тым, што ў небе.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

І вас, якія былі некалі адлучаныя і ворагі, разуменьнем [зьвернутыя] да злых справаў,

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

цяпер пагадзіў ва ўласным целе Яго праз сьмерць, каб паставіць вас сьвятымі, і беззаганнымі, і бездакорнымі перад Сабою,

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

калі толькі застаецеся ў веры цьвёрда і непарушна, і не адпадаеце ад надзеі Эвангельля, якое вы чулі, якое абвешчана ўсяму стварэньню пад небам, якога я, Павал, стаўся служыцелем.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Цяпер я радуюся ў пакутах маіх за вас і дапаўняю нястачу ў целе маім прыгнётаў Хрыстовых за Цела Ягонае, якое ёсьць Царква,

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

якой я стаўся служыцелем паводле распарадкаваньня Божага, дадзенага мне дзеля вас, каб споўніць слова Божае,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

тайну, схаваную ад вякоў і ад пакаленьняў, а цяпер выяўленую сьвятым Ягоным,

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

якім захацеў Бог паведаміць, якое багацьце славы тайны гэтай сярод паганаў, якая ёсьць Хрыстос у вас, надзея славы,

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Якога мы прапаведуем, настаўляючы ўсякага чалавека і вучачы ўсякага чалавека ўсякае мудрасьці, каб нам паставіць усякага чалавека дасканалым у Хрысьце Ісусе,

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

дзеля чаго я і працую, змагаючыся паводле дзеяньня Яго, якое дзейнічае ў-ва мне магутна.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
