Павал, воляю Божаю апостал Ісуса Хрыста, і Цімафей брат,

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

сьвятым у Калосах і верным братам у Ісусе Хрысьце:

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

мілата вам і мір ад Бога Айца нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста. Дзякуем Богу і Айцу Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста, увесь час у малітве за вас,

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

дачуўшыся пра веру вашую ў Хрыста Ісуса і пра любоў да ўсіх сьвятых,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

маючы надзею на ўгатаванае вам на нябёсах, пра што вы раней чулі ў праўдзівым слове зьвеставаньня,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

якое жыве ў вас, як і вы ўва ўсім сьвеце, і родзіць плод і ўзрастае, як і паміж вамі, з таго дня, як вы пачулі і ўведалі мілату Божую ў ісьціне,

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

як і навучыліся ад Эпафраса, любаснага супрацоўніка нашага, вернага вам службіта Хрыстовага,

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

які і паведаміў нам пра вашую духоўную любоў.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Таму і мы з таго дня, як гэта пачулі, не перастаём маліцца за вас і прасіць, каб вы дайшлі да поўнага спазнаньня волі Ягонай ва ўсякай мудрасьці і разуменьні духоўным,

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

каб жылі годна Бога, ува ўсім дагаджаючы Яму, родзячы плод ва ўсякай працы добрай і ўзрастаючы ў спазнаньні Бога,

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

мацуючыся ўсякаю сілаю праз магутнасьць славы Ягонай, ва ўсякай цярплівасьці і вялікадушнасьці з радасьцю,

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

дзякуючы Богу і Айцу, Які паклікаў нас да ўдзелу ў спадчыне сьвятых у сьвеце,

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

вызваліў нас з-пад улады цемры і ўвёў у Царства любаснага Сына Свайго,

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

у Якім мы маем адкупленьне Крывёю Ягонаю і дараваньне грахоў,

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Які ёсьць вобраз Бога нябачнага, народжаны раней за ўсякае стварэньне;

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

бо Ён стварыў усё, што на нябёсах і што на зямлі, бачнае і нябачнае: хай тое троны, хай тое дзяржавы, хай тое начальствы, хай тое ўлады, — усё Ім і для Яго створана;

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

і Ён ёсьць раней за ўсё, і ўсё існуе Ім.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

І Ён ёсьць галава цела Царквы; Ён пачатак, першынец зь мёртвых, каб меў Ён ва ўсім першынства:

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

бо заўгодна было Айцу, каб у Ім жыла ўся паўната,

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

і каб празь Яго замірыць з Сабою ўсё, устанавіўшы мір празь Яго, Крывёю крыжа ягонага, і зямное і нябеснае.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

І вас, якія калісьці былі адчужаныя і ворагі думкамі, і схільнасьцю да ліхіх учынкаў,

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

цяпер замірыў у целе плоці Ягонай, сьмерцю (Ягонай), каб явіць вас сьвятымі і беззаганнымі і невінаватымі перад Сабою,

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

калі толькі вы цьвёрдыя і непахісныя ў веры і не адпадаеце ад надзеі зьвеставаньня, якое вы чулі, якое абвешчана ўсім стварэньням паднябесным, якому я, Павал, зрабіўся слугою.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Сёньня радуюся ў цярпеньнях маіх за вас і дапаўняю нястачу ў плоці маёй скрухаў Хрыстовых за цела Ягонае, якое ёсьць Царква,

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

якой я зрабіўся службітом згодна з устанаўленьнем Божым, давераным мне для вас, каб выканаць слова Божае,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

тайну, схаваную ад вякоў і родаў, а сёньня адкрытую сьвятым Ягоным,

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

якім дабраволіў Бог паказаць, якое багацьце славы ў тайне гэтай для язычнікаў, якая ёсьць Хрыстос у вас, надзея славы,

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Якога мы прапаведуем, настаўляючы на розум кожнага чалавека і навучаючы ўсялякай мудрасьці, каб паказаць кожнага чалавека дасканалым у Хрысьце Ісусе;

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

дзеля чаго я і працую і змагаюся сілай Ягонай, якая дзее ўва мне магутна.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
