Павел, воляю Божаю Апостал Іісуса Хрыста, і Цімафей брат,

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

тым, што ў Калосах, святым і верным братам у Хрысце Іісусе:

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

благадаць вам і мір ад Бога, Айца нашага, і Госпада Іісуса Хрыста. Дзякуем Богу і Айцу Госпада нашага Іісуса Хрыста, заўсёды молячыся за вас,

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

дачуўшыся пра веру вашу ў Хрыста Іісуса і пра любоў, якую вы маеце да ўсіх святых,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

у надзеі на ўгатава́нае вам на нябёсах, пра што вы раней чулі ў слове ісціны, у дабравесці,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

якое прыйшло да вас; як і ва ўсім свеце яно і пладаносіць, і ўзрастае, так і сярод вас ад таго дня, як вы пачулі і спазналі благадаць Божую ў ісціне,

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

як і навучыліся ад Эпафраса, узлюбленага суработніка нашага, вернага дзеля вас служыцеля Хрыстовага,

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

які і паведаміў нам пра вашу любоў у духу.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Таму і мы з таго дня, як гэта пачулі, не перастаём маліцца за вас і прасіць, каб вы напаўняліся спазнаннем волі Яго ва ўсякай мудрасці і разуменні духоўным,

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

каб жылі дастойна Госпада, ва ўсім дагаджаючы Яму, прыносячы плод ва ўсякай справе добрай і ўзрастаючы ў спазнанні Бога,

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

умацоўваючыся ўсякаю сілаю паводле магутнасці славы Яго, на трываласць ва ўсім і доўгацярплівасць з радасцю,

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

узносячы падзяку Богу і Айцу, Які паклікаў нас да ўдзелу ў спадчыне святых у святле,

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Які вызваліў нас з-пад улады цемры і ўвёў у Царства ўзлюбленага Сына Свайго,

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

у Якім мы маем выкупле́нне Крывёю Яго і прабачэнне грахоў,

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Які ёсць вобраз Бога нябачнага, першанароджаны раней за ўсякае стварэнне;

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

бо Ім створана ўсё, што на нябёсах і што на зямлі, бачнае і нябачнае: ці то прастолы, ці дзяржавы, ці начальствы, ці ўлады, — усё праз Яго і для Яго створана;

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

і Ён існуе раней за ўсё, і ўсё ў Ім знаходзіцца.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

І Ён — галава цела Царквы; Ён — пачатак, першынец з мёртвых, каб ва ўсім Ён меў пе́ршынства:

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

бо ўгодна было Айцу, каб у Ім заключалася ўся паўната,

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

і каб праз Яго прымірыць з Сабою, устанавіўшы мір праз Яго, Крывёю крыжа Яго, усё — і зямное, і нябеснае.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

І вас, якія калісьці былі чужымі і варожымі Богу ў думках і ліхіх справах,

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

цяпер Ён прымірыў у целе Плоці Яго, смерцю Яго, каб паставіць вас святымі, і беззаганнымі, і бездакорнымі перад Сабою,

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

калі толькі вы застаяце́ся цвёрдымі і непахіснымі ў веры і не адпада́еце ад надзеі дабравесця, якое вы чулі, якое абвешчана ўсяму стварэнню паднябеснаму і якому я, Павел, стаў служыцелем.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Цяпер я радуюся ў пакутах маіх за вас і дапаўняю нястачу ў плоці маёй мук Хрыстовых за Цела Яго, якім з’яўляецца Царква,

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

служыцелем якой я стаў паводле даручэння Божага, дадзенага мне дзеля вас, каб у паўнаце абве́сціць слова Божае,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

тайну, схаваную ад вякоў і ад родаў, а цяпер адкрытую святым Яго,

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

якім пажадаў Бог паказаць, у чым багацце славы для язычнікаў тайны гэтай, якая ёсць Хрыстос у вас — надзея славы,

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Якога мы прапаведуем, настаўляючы кожнага чалавека і навучаючы кожнага чалавека ўсёй мудрасці, каб паказаць кожнага чалавека дасканалым у Хрысце Іісусе,

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

дзеля чаго я і працую, змагаючыся сілаю Яго, якая дзейнічае ўва мне магутна.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
