Павел, з волі Божай апостал Езуса Хрыста, і брат Цімафей —

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

святым і верным братам у Хрысце, якія ў Калосах: ласка вам і спакой ад Бога, Айца нашага.

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дзякуем Богу, Айцу нашага Пана Езуса Хрыста, заўсёды, калі молімся за вас,

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

бо мы пачулі пра вашую веру ў Хрысце Езусе і пра любоў, якую маеце да ўсіх святых

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

дзеля надзеі, што захавана для вас у нябёсах. Вы пачулі пра яе раней у слове праўды Евангелля,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

якое прыйшло да вас. І як яно прыносіць плён і расце ва ўсім свеце, так і сярод вас, пачынаючы з дня, калі вы пачулі і пазналі Божую ласку ў праўдзе.

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

Вы навучыліся ёй ад Эпафраса, нашага ўмілаванага супольніка ў служэнні, вернага слугі Хрыстовага для вас,

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

які і выявіў нам вашую любоў у Духу.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Таму і мы, з таго дня, калі пачулі пра вас, няспынна молімся і просім, каб вы напоўніліся пазнаннем Яго волі ва ўсёй мудрасці і духоўным разуменні;

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

каб вы паступалі годна Пана і ва ўсім падабаліся Яму, прыносячы плён ва ўсякай добрай справе і ўзрастаючы ў пазнанні Бога;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

каб вы цалкам умацоўваліся паводле моцы славы Ягонай для поўнай вытрываласці і доўгацярплівасці. З радасцю

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

дзякуйце Айцу, які зрабіў вас здольнымі ўдзельнічаць у спадчыне святых у святле,

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

які вызваліў нас з-пад улады цемры і прывёў у Валадарства свайго ўмілаванага Сына,

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

у якім мы маем адкупленне і адпушчэнне грахоў.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Ён з’яўляецца вобразам нябачнага Бога, першародным сярод усякага стварэння.

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Бо ў Ім было створана ўсё, што на нябёсах і на зямлі, бачнае і нябачнае: ці троны, ці панаванні, ці начальствы, ці ўлады — усё праз Яго і для Яго створана.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Ён ёсць перад усім, і ўсё трывае ў Ім.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Ён — Галава цела, гэта значыць, Касцёла. Ён — пачатак, першародны з памерлых, каб ва ўсім Ён меў першынство.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Бо спадабалася Богу, каб у Ім жыла ўся паўната

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

і каб праз Яго прымірыць з сабою ўсё, і зямное, і нябеснае, усталяваўшы спакой праз кроў Ягонага крыжа.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Хоць вы калісьці былі адчужаныя і варожыя паводле мыслення і сваіх ліхіх справаў,

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

цяпер Ён прымірыў вас у сваім зямным целе праз сваю смерць, каб паставіць вас перад сабою святымі, беззаганнымі і бездакорнымі,

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

калі толькі вы сапраўды непарушна і цвёрда трываеце ў веры і не даеце адвесці сябе ад надзеі Евангелля, якое пачулі і якое было абвешчана ўсяму стварэнню пад небам, слугою якога стаў я, Павел.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Цяпер я радуюся за вас у цярпеннях і дапаўняю недахоп у маім целе пакутаў Хрыста за Ягонае цела, якім ёсць Касцёл,

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

слугою якога я стаў паводле дадзенага мне дзеля вас Божага распараджэння, каб абвяшчаць слова Божае,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

таямніцу, схаваную ад вякоў і ад пакаленняў, якая цяпер аб’явілася Ягоным святым.

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Ім захацеў Бог адкрыць сярод язычнікаў багацце славы гэтай таямніцы, якою ёсць Хрыстус сярод вас — надзея славы.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Яго мы абвяшчаем, настаўляючы і навучаючы кожнага чалавека ўсялякай мудрасці, каб учыніць кожнага дасканалым у Хрысце.

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Дзеля гэтага я і працую, змагаючыся Яго моцаю, якая магутна дзейнічае ўва мне.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
