Паўла, з волі Божай Апостал Ісуса Хрыста, і Цімафей, брат,

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

тым святым і веруючым братам у Хрысце, што ў Калосах: ласка вам і супакой ад Бога, Айца нашага, і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дзякуем Богу Айцу Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста, заўсёды молячыся за вас

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

і чуючы пра веру вашу ў Хрыста Ісуса і пра любоў, якую маеце да ўсіх святых,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

дзеля надзеі, якая прыгатавана для вас у небе, аб якой чулі вы раней у слове праўды Евангелля,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

якая дайшла да вас, як і па ўсім свеце разышлася, і дае плады, і расце, як і ў вас ад таго дня, у які вы пачулі ды пазналі ласку Божую ў праўдзе,

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

як вы і навучыліся ад Эпафраса, супрацоўніка нашага найдаражэйшага, вернага для вас паслугача Хрыста,

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

які таксама паведаміў нам пра вашу любоў у Духу.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Таму і мы ад таго дня, у які гэта пачулі, не перастаём за вас маліцца і прасіць, каб вы напоўніліся пазнаннем волі Яго ва ўсякай мудрасці і духоўным разуменні

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

і каб жылі вы дастойна Госпада, ва ўсім падабаючыся Яму, прыносячы плод у кожным добрым дзеянні і ўзрастаючы ў пазнанні Бога,

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

дужэючы ўсякай сілаю паводле магутнасці славы Яго ва ўсякай цярплівасці і велікадушнасці, з радасцю,

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

дзякуючы Айцу, Які ўчыніў нас дастойнымі ўдзельнічаць у лёсе святых у свеце,

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Які вырваў нас з улады цемры і перанёс у Валадарства Сына ўлюбёнага Свайго,

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

у Якім атрымалі мы адкупленне праз кроў Яго і дараванне грахоў,

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Які ёсць вобраз нябачнага Бога, Першынец усяго стварэння,

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

бо Ім заснавана ўсё, што ёсць у небе і на зямлі, бачнае і нябачнае, ці то троны, ці то валадарствы, ці начальствы, ці ўлады. Усё праз Яго і для Яго створана,

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

і Ён ёсць перад усім, і ўсё ў Ім заключаецца.

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

І Ён — Галава цела Царквы; Ён — Пачатак, Першынец з мёртвых, каб ва ўсім Ён трымаў першынство,

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

бо спадабалася, каб у Ім прабывала ўсякая паўната,

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

каб праз Яго ўсё пагадзіць з Сабою, ці што на зямлі, ці што ў нябёсах ёсць, робячы супакой Крывёю крыжа Яго.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

І вас, што былі калісьці чужымі і ворагамі праз схільнасць да ліхіх учынкаў,

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

цяпер пагадзіў у целе смерцю цела Свайго, каб паставіць вас перад Сабою святымі, беззаганнымі і бездакорнымі,

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

калі толькі застанецеся моцнымі верай, стойкімі і непарушнымі ў надзеі Евангелля, якое вы чулі, якое абвяшчаецца ўсяму стварэнню, якое пад небам, якога я, Паўла, стаўся паслугачом.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Цяпер радуюся я з цярпенняў маіх за вас і дапаўняю тое, чаго нестае з пакут Хрыстовых, у сваім целе за Цела Яго, якім ёсць Царква,

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

якой я стаўся слугой за пастановай Божай, дадзенай мне адносна вас, каб я споўніў слова Божае,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

таямніцу, схаваную ад вякоў і пакаленняў, а цяпер выяўленую Яго святым,

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

якім захацеў Бог выявіць, якое багацце славы гэтай таямніцы сярод паганаў. Гэта ёсць Хрыстос у вас, надзея хвалы.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Яго абвяшчаем мы, выяўляючы кожнаму чалавеку ва ўсякай мудрасці, каб прадставіць кожнага чалавека дасканалым у Хрысце Ісусе.

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Дзеля гэтага я і працую, змагаючыся пры Яго садзеянні, якім Ён ува мне дзейнічае магутна.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
