Павел, з волі Божай Апостал Хрыста Ісуса, і Цімафей, брат, —

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,

святым і верным у Хрысце [Ісусе] братам, што ў Калосах: ласка вам і мір ад Бога, нашага Бацькі, [і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста].

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дзякуем Богу і Бацьку Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста, заўсёды молячыся аб вас,

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

пачуўшы пра вашую веру ў Хрыста Ісуса і пра любоў, якую вы маеце да ўсіх святых

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

праз надзею, падрыхтаваную вам на нябёсах, аб якой вы чулі раней у слове праўды дабравесця,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

якое дайшло да вас; як і ва ўсім свеце, яно жыве, прыносячы плод і ўзрастаючы, як і ў вас з таго дня, як вы пачулі і пазналі ласку Божую ў праўдзе,

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

як навучыліся ад Эпафраса, нашага ўлюбёнага супрацоўніка, які ёсць верны слуга Хрыста для вас;

As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

які і паведаміў нам пра вашу любоў у Духу.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Таму і мы з таго дня, як пачулі пра гэта, не перастаём маліцца за вас і прасіць, каб вы напоўніліся пазнаннем Яго волі ва ўсёй мудрасці і духоўным разуменні,

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

каб пражыць годна Госпада, ва ўсім дагаджаючы Яму, прыносячы плод у кожнай добрай справе і ўзрастаючы ў пазнанні Бога,

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

узмацняючыся ўсёю сілай праз магутнасць Яго славы для ўсялякай стойкасці і доўгацярплівасці з радасцю,

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

дзякуючы [Богу і] Бацьку, што зрабіў нас здольнымі1 ўдзельнічаць у долі святых у святле;

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Які выбавіў нас ад улады цемры і перанёс у царства Сына Сваёй любові,

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

у Якім мы маем выкуп [праз Яго кроў], дараванне грахоў;

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Які ёсць вобраз нябачнага Бога, Першародны кожнага стварэння;

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

таму што ў Ім былостворана ўсё: на нябёсах і на зямлі, бачнае і нябачнае: ці троны, ці панаванні, ці начальствы, ці ўлады — усё праз Яго і дзеля Яго створана;

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

і Ён ёсць перад усім, і ўсё існуе ў Ім,

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

і Ён ёсць Галава Цела — царквы; Ён пачатак, Першародны з мёртвых, каб ва ўсім Ён меў першынство,

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

таму што было патрэбна Богу, каб у Ім пасялілася ўся паўната

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

і каб праз Яго прымірыць з Сабою ўсё, усталяваўшы мір Крывёю Яго крыжа — праз Яго — як тое, што на зямлі, так і тое, што ў нябёсах.

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

І вас, што былі некалі адчужанымі і ворагамі ў розуме з-за ліхіх учынкаў,

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

Ён цяпер прымірыў у чалавечым Яго целе праз смерць, каб паставіць вас святымі, беззаганнымі і бездакорнымі перад Сабою,

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

калі ж вы сапраўды застаяцеся ў веры цвёрда і непарушна і не адступаеце ад надзеі дабравесця, якое вы чулі, якое было абвешчана ўсялякаму стварэнню пад небам, слугою якога зрабіўся я, Павел.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Цяпер я радуюся ў [маіх] пакутах за вас і дапаўняю нястачу скрухаў Хрыстовых у маім целе за Яго Цела, якое ёсць Царква,

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

слугою якой я зрабіўся паводле домакіравання Божага, дадзенага мне для вас, каб завяршыць слова Божае,

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

таямніцу, схаваную ад вякоў і пакаленняў; а цяпер адкрытую Яго святым,

Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

якім Бог захацеў адкрыць, якое ёсць багацце славы гэтай таямніцы сярод язычнікаў, якая ёсць Хрыстос у вас — надзея славы;

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Якога мыабвяшчаем, настаўляючы на розум кожнага чалавекаі навучаючы кожнага чалавека ва ўсёй мудрасці, каб прадставіць кожнага чалавека дасканалым у Хрысце [Ісусе],

Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

дзеля таго я і працую, змагаючыся Яго сілаю, якая магутна дзейнічае ўва мне.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
