Павел, раб Ісуса Хрыста; пакліканы Апостал, выбраны для дабравешчання Божага,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

якое Ён раней абяцаў праз Сваіх прарокаў у святых Пісаннях,

(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

пра Яго Сына, які нарадзіўся целам з патомства Давідавага

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

і адкрыўся Сынам Божым у сіле, паводле Духу святасці праз уваскрэсення мёртвых, пра Ісуса Хрыста, нашага Госпада,

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

праз Якога мы атрымалі ласку і апостальства для паслушэнства веры ва ўсіх народах дзеля Яго імя,

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

між якіх і вы, пакліканыя Ісусам Хрыстом, —

Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

усім, хто ў Рыме, улюбёным Божым, пакліканым святым, — ласка вам і мір ад Бога, нашага Бацькі, і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Перш за ўсё дзякую майму Богу праз Ісуса Хрыста за ўсіх вас, таму што ваша вера абвяшчаецца ва ўсім свеце.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Бо сведка мне Бог, Якому служу сваім духам у дабравешчанні Яго Сына, як я безупынна ўспамінаю вас,

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

заўсёды просячы ў маіх малітвах, ці не ўдасца мне неяк цяпер нарэшце воляю Божаю прыйсці да вас.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

Бо я прагну ўбачыць вас, каб перадаць вам нейкі духоўны дар дзеля вашага ўмацавання,

For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

гэта значыць, каб разам з вамі суцешыцца агульнаю вераю, вашаю і маёю.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

І я не хачу, каб вы не ведалі, браты, што я шмат разоў намерваўся прыйсці да вас, (але я дагэтуль сустракаў перашкоды), каб мець нейкі плод і ў вас, які ў астатніх народаў.

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Даўжнік я і элінам, і варварам, і мудрым, і неразумным.

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

Дык, што да мяне, то я гатовы дабравесціць і вам, якія ў Рыме.

So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Бо я не саромеюся дабравесця [Хрыстовага], бо яно ёсць сіла Божая да выратавання кожнаму верніку, і іудзею, па-першае, і эліну.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Бо ў ім адкрываецца з веры ў веру праведнасць Божая, як напісана: «А праведны будзе жыць вераю».

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Бо адкрываецца з неба гнеў Божы на ўсялякую бязбожнасць і няправеднасць людзей, што заглушаюць праўду няправеднасцю.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

бо тое, што вядома пра Бога, яўна для іх, бо ім Бог выявіў гэта.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Бо Яго нябачнае — і Яго вечная сіла і Боскасць — ясна відаць ад стварэння свету праз разважанне над тварэннямі, так што няма ім выбачэння,

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

таму што, спазнаўшы Бога, яны Яго як Бога не праславілі і не падзякавалі Яму, а сталі марнымі ў сваіх разважаннях, і запамарочылася іх нецямлівае сэрца.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Сцвярджаючы, што яны мудрыя, яны падурнелі,

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

і памянялі славу нятленнага Бога на падабенства вобраза тленнага чалавека, птушак, чатырохногіх і паўзуноў.

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Таму Бог перадаў іх у пажадлівасці іх сэрцаў нечысціні, так што яны апаганьваюць свае целы між сабою;

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

яны замянілі Божую праўду маною і пакланіліся і служылі стварэнню замест Творцы, Які добраславёны навекі, амін.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

З-за гэтага Бог перадаў іх ганебным пажадлівасцям: бо і іх жанчыны перамянілі натуральныя зносіны на ненатуральныя;

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

а гэтак і мужчыны, пакінуўшы натуральныя зносіны з жанчынаю, распаліліся ў сваёй пажадлівасці адзін да аднаго, мужчыны з мужчынамі, чынячы сорам і атрымліваючы ў саміх сабе належную адплату за сваю аблуду.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

І як яны не ўважалі за патрэбнае мець Бога ў пазнанні, Бог перадаў іх перакручанаму розуму — чыніць непрыстойнае;

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

яны напоўненыя ўсялякай няправеднасцю, подласцю, хцівасцю, зласлівасцю, поўныя зайздрасці, забойства, сваркі, ашуканства, благіх звычаяў, нашэптванняў,

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

паклёпнікі, боганенавіснікі, крыўдзіцелі, ганарліўцы, самахвалы, выдумшчыкі ліхога, непаслухмяныя бацькам,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

неразумныя, падступныя, непрыязныя, неміласэрныя,

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

якія, пазнаўшы праведны суд Божы1 — што тыя, хто робіць такое, вартыя смерці — не толькі гэта чыняць, але і ўхваляюць тых, хто гэта робіць.

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
