Павел, раб Иисуса Христа, призванный быть апостолом и избранный для проповеди Божьей Радостной вести,

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

которая была заранее обещана Богом через Его пророков в святых Писаниях,

(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

о Его Сыне, который по своему человеческому происхождению был потомком Давида,

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

и через воскресение из мертвых, в силе, по духу святости был поставлен Сыном Божьим, о нашем Господе Иисусе Христе,

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

через которого мы получили благодать и апостольство, чтобы ради Его имени привести к покорности вере людей из всех языческих народов,

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

среди которых находитесь и вы, призванные Иисуса Христа.

Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

Я обращаюсь ко всем любимым Богом, призванным быть Его святыми, которые живут в Риме. Благодать вам и мир от Бога Отца нашего и от Господа Иисуса Христа!

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Прежде всего я через Иисуса Христа благодарю Бога моего за всех вас, потому что о вашей вере известно всему миру.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Пусть Бог, которому я служу своим духом, проповедуя Радостную весть о Его Сыне, будет мне свидетелем в том, что я всегда вспоминаю о вас.

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

Я молюсь, чтобы по Божьей воле я смог бы, наконец, посетить вас.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

Я давно уже хочу увидеть вас и поделиться с вами дарами Духа, чтобы вы были укреплены

For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

или, скорее, чтобы мы могли взаимно ободрить друг друга своей верой, вашей и моей.

That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

Я хочу, чтобы вы знали, что я уже много раз собирался прийти к вам, но до сих пор мне постоянно что-то препятствовало. Я хотел увидеть плод своей проповеди среди вас, как это бывало среди других язычников.

Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Я должник и перед греками, и перед варварами, перед мудрыми и перед глупыми.

I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

Поэтому я так жажду проповедовать Радостную весть и вам, живущим в Риме.

So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Я не стыжусь Евангелия, ведь оно — сила Божья для спасения каждому, кто верит, — прежде всего иудею, потом и язычнику.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

В Евангелии открыта праведность Божья от веры в веру, как и написано: "Праведный верой жив будет".

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

С небес открывается гнев Божий на всякое нечестие и несправедливость людей, которые злом попирают истину.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

То, что можно знать о Боге, известно им, потому что Бог явил им это.

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

От создания мира невидимые качества Бога, Его вечная сила и божественная природа видны и могут быть поняты в том, что Он сотворил, и неверующим нет извинения,

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

потому что хотя они узнали Бога, они не прославили Его как Бога и не были благодарны Ему; в своих размышлениях они зашли в тупик, и их неразумные сердца погрузились во мрак.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Притязая на мудрость, они стали глупыми

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

и заменили славу нетленного Бога на образы, похожие на тленных людей, птиц, четвероногих животных и пресмыкающихся.

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Поэтому Бог отдал их на произвол их же собственных низменных желаний и они сами оскверняли свои тела нечистотой.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Эти люди заменили Божью истину на ложь и поклонялись и служили созданию, а не Создателю, который достоин вечной славы, аминь.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Итак, Бог оставил их на волю их постыдных страстей, и в результате женщины вместо естественных отношений стали делать то, что противно их природе;

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

мужчины тоже вместо естественных отношений с женщинами стали разжигаться страстью друг к другу; мужчины с мужчинами делают постыдные вещи и сами в себе получают наказание за свое извращение.

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

A поскольку познание о Боге они посчитали чем-то ненужным, то Бог оставил их на произвол их испорченных умов, допустив им делать то, чего делать не должно.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Они полны всякой неправедности, зла, жадности, порочности; полны зависти, убийства, раздоров, обмана, коварства, сплетен.

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Они клеветники, богоненавистники, наглые, надменные, хвастливые, изобретательные на зло, непокорные родителям;

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

нет в них ни рассудка, ни веры, ни любви, ни милости.

Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Божье отношение им известно: все, кто живет такой жизнью, достойны смерти, но они не только сами продолжают грешить, но и одобряют других, поступающих так же.

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
