Павел, вязень Хрыста Іісуса, і Цімафей брат, — Філімону ўзлю́бленаму, супрацоўніку нашаму,

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,

і Апфіі, сястры ўзлю́бленай, і Архіпу, спадзвíжніку нашаму, і дамашняй тваёй царкве:

And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

благадаць вам і мір ад Бога, Айца нашага, і Госпада Іісуса Хрыста.

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дзякую Богу майму, заўсёды паміна́ючы цябе ў малітвах маіх,

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

чуючы пра тваю любоў і веру, якую ты маеш да Госпада Іісуса і да ўсіх святых,

Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

каб вера твая, супольная з нашай, была дзейснай у спазнанні ўсякага дабра, якое ў вас дзеля Хрыста Іісуса.

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Бо мы маем радасць вялікую і суцяшэнне ў любові тваёй, таму што табою, браце, супако́ены сэрцы святых.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

Таму, ма́ючы вялікую ў Хрысце адвагу зага́дваць табе нале́жнае,

Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

больш па любові прашу я, Павел, будучы старцам, а цяпер і вязнем Іісуса Хрыста;

Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

прашу цябе за сына майго Анісіма, якога спарадзіў я ў кайданах маіх:

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

ён быў калісьці бескарысным для цябе, а цяпер — вельмі карысны табе і мне; я адсылаю яго да цябе;

Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:

ты ж прымі яго, як маё сэрца.

Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

Я хацеў утрымаць яго пры сабе, каб ён замест цябе паслужыў мне, які ў кайданах за дабравесце;

Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:

але я нічога не хацеў рабіць без тваёй згоды, каб добрая справа твая была не вы́мушанай, а дабравольнай.

But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

Бо, магчыма, ён дзеля таго адлучы́ўся на кароткі час, каб ты прыняў яго назаўсёды,

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

ужо не як раба, а вышэй за раба, як брата ўзлюбленага, асабліва для мяне, а тым болей для цябе — і па плоці, і ў Госпадзе.

Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

Дык вось, калі маеш мяне за супольніка, то прымі яго, як мяне.

If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

Калі ж ён нанёс табе нейкую шкоду альбо доўг ма́е, то лічы́ гэта на мне.

If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;

Я, Павел, напісаў сваёю рукою: я заплачу́; каб не казаць табе, што ты і самога сябе мне вінен.

I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

Так, браце, дазволь мне мець карысць ад цябе ў Госпадзе; супакой маё сэрца ў Госпадзе.

Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

Упэўнены ў паслухмянасці тваёй, я напісаў табе, ведаючы, што ты зробіш і больш, чым я кажу.

Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

А разам з тым падрыхтуй мне і гасцявы́ пакой; бо, спадзяюся, што па малітвах вашых я буду дарава́ны вам.

But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Вітае цябе Эпафрас, вязень разам са мною дзеля Хрыста Іісуса,

There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;

а таксама Марк, Арыстарх, Дзімас, Лука, супрацоўнікі мае́.

Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers.

Благадаць Госпада нашага Іісуса Хрыста з духам вашым. Амінь.
