Павал, вязень Ісуса Хрыста, і Цімафей, брат, — Філімону, улюбёнаму і супрацоўніку нашаму,

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,

і ўлюбёнай Апфіі, і Архіпу, таварышу нашаму ў барацьбе, і хатняй царкве тваёй:

And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

ласка вам і супакой ад Бога Айца нашага і Госпада Ісуса Хрыста.

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Дзякую Богу майму, заўсёды ўзгадваючы пра цябе ў малітвах маіх,

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

чуючы пра любоў тваю і веру, якую маеш да Госпада Ісуса і да ўсіх сьвятых,

Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

каб супольнасьць веры тваёй была дзейснай у пазнаньні ўсякага дабра, якое ў вас у Хрысьце Ісусе.

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Бо вялікую маем ласку і пацяшэньне ў любові тваёй, бо праз цябе, браце, супачылі ўнутранасьці сьвятых.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

Дзеля гэтага, маючы вялікую ў Хрысьце адвагу загадваць табе, што прыстойна [рабіць],

Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

лепш праз любоў прашу я, ня хто іншы, як Павал, староста, а цяпер і вязень Ісуса Хрыста.

Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

Прашу цябе адносна дзіцяці майго Анісіма, якога я нарадзіў у путах маіх,

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

што быў некалі некарысны для цябе, а цяпер патрэбны табе і мне.

Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:

Яго я паслаў, а ты яго, як мае ўнутранасьці, прыймі.

Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

Хацеў я яго пры сабе трымаць, каб ён замест цябе паслужыў мне ў путах за Эвангельле,

Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:

але без твае згоды нічога не хацеў зрабіць, каб дабро тваё не з прынукі было, а з добрае волі.

But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

Бо можа ён дзеля таго на гадзіну адыйшоў, каб ты атрымаў яго назаўсёды,

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

ужо не як слугу, але вышэй за слугу, як брата ўлюбёнага, асабліва для мяне, а тым больш для цябе — і паводле цела, і ў Госпадзе.

Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

Дык калі маеш мяне за супольніка, прыймі яго, як мяне.

If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

А калі ён чым скрыўдзіў цябе або вінен, лічы гэтае на мне.

If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;

Я, Павал, напісаў маёю рукою: «Я аддам»; каб не казаць табе, што ты і самім сабою мне вінны.

I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

Гэтак, браце, дай мне скарыстацца ад цябе ў Госпадзе; супакой унутранасьці мае ў Госпадзе.

Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

Перакананы ў паслухмянасьці тваёй, я напісаў да цябе, ведаючы, што ты зробіш і больш, чым кажу.

Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

А таксама падрыхтуй для мяне гасподу, бо спадзяюся, што праз малітвы вашыя буду вам падараваны.

But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Вітае цябе Эпафрас, вязень разам са мною ў Хрысьце Ісусе,

There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;

Марк, Арыстарх, Дэмас, Лука, супрацоўнікі мае.

Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers.

Ласка Госпада нашага Ісуса Хрыста з духам вашым. Амэн.
