The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

Сло́во бж҃їе, є҆́же бы́сть ко ї҆еремі́и сы́нѹ хелкі́евѹ ѿ свѧщє́нникъ, и҆́же ѡ҆бита́ше во а҆наѳѡ́ѳѣ, въ землѝ венїамі́новѣ,

To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

ѩ҆́коже бы́сть сло́во гд҇не къ немѹ̀, во дни҄ ї҆ѡсі́и сы́на а҆мѡ́са царѧ̀ ї҆ѹ́дина, въ третїена́десѧть лѣ́то ца́рства є҆гѡ̀,

It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

и҆ бы́сть во дни҄ ї҆ѡакі́ма сы́на ї҆ѡсі́и царѧ̀ ї҆ѹ́дина, да́же до первагѡна́десѧть лѣ́та седекі́и сы́на ї҆ѡсі́и царѧ̀ ї҆ѹ́дина, да́же до плѣне́нїѧ ї҆ер҇ли́мскагѡ въ мц҇ъ пѧ́тый.

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

И҆ бы́сть сло́во гд҇не ко мнѣ̀ гл҃ѧ:

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

пре́жде не́же мнѣ̀ созда́ти тѧ̀ во чре́вѣ, позна́хъ тѧ̀, и҆ пре́жде не́же и҆зы́ти тебѣ̀ и҆з̾ ложе́снъ, ѡ҆ст҃и́хъ тѧ̀, про҇ро́ка во ѩ҆зы́ки поста́вихъ тѧ̀.

Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

И҆ реко́хъ: ѽ, сы́й влдко гд҇и, сѐ, не вѣ́мъ глаго́лати, ѩ҆́кѡ ѻ҆́трокъ а҆́зъ є҆́смь.

But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

И҆ речѐ гд҇ь ко мнѣ̀: не глаго́ли, ѩ҆́кѡ ѻ҆́трокъ а҆́зъ є҆́смь, и҆́бо ко всѣ҄мъ, къ ни҄мже послю́ тѧ, по́йдеши, и҆ всѧ҄, є҆ли҄ка повелю̀ тебѣ̀, возглаго́леши:

Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

не ѹ҆бо́йсѧ ѿ лица̀ и҆́хъ, ѩ҆́кѡ съ тобо́ю а҆́зъ є҆́смь, є҆́же и҆зба́вити тѧ̀, гл҃етъ гд҇ь.

Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

И҆ прострѐ гд҇ь рѹ́кѹ свою̀ ко мнѣ̀ и҆ прикоснѹ́сѧ ѹ҆стѡ́мъ мои҄мъ, и҆ речѐ гд҇ь ко мнѣ̀: сѐ, да́хъ словеса̀ моѧ҄ во ѹ҆ста̀ твоѧ҄:

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

сѐ, поста́вихъ тѧ̀ дне́сь над̾ ѩ҆зы҄ки и҆ над̾ ца́рствы, да и҆скорени́ши и҆ разори́ши, и҆ расточи́ши и҆ разрѹши́ши, и҆ па́ки сози́ждеши и҆ насади́ши.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

И҆ бы́сть сло́во гд҇не ко мнѣ̀ гл҃ѧ: что́ ты ви́диши, ї҆еремі́е; И҆ реко́хъ: же́злъ ѻ҆рѣ́ховый (а҆́зъ ви́ждѹ).

Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

И҆ речѐ гд҇ь ко мнѣ̀: бла́гѡ ви́дѣлъ є҆сѝ, поне́же бдѣ́хъ а҆́зъ над̾ словесы̀ мои́ми, є҆́же сотвори́ти ѧ҆̀.

And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.

И҆ бы́сть сло́во гд҇не втори́цею ко мнѣ̀ гл҃ѧ: что́ ты ви́диши; И҆ реко́хъ: коно́бъ поджига́емый (а҆́зъ ви́ждѹ) и҆ лицѐ є҆гѡ̀ ѿ лица̀ сѣ́вера.

Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

И҆ речѐ гд҇ь ко мнѣ̀: ѿ лица̀ сѣ́вера возгорѧ́тсѧ ѕла҄ѧ на всѣ́хъ ѡ҆бита́ющихъ на землѝ,

For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

занѐ сѐ, а҆́зъ созовѹ̀ всѧ҄ ца҄рства зємна́ѧ ѿ сѣ́вера, речѐ гд҇ь: и҆ прїи́дѹтъ и҆ поста́вѧтъ кі́йждо престо́лъ сво́й въ преддве́рїихъ вра́тъ ї҆ер҇ли́мскихъ и҆ на всѣ́хъ стѣна́хъ ѡ҆́крестъ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ на всѣ́хъ градѣ́хъ ї҆ѹ́диныхъ:

And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.

и҆ возгл҃ю къ ни҄мъ съ сѹдо́мъ ѡ҆ всѧ́цѣй ѕло́бѣ и҆́хъ, ка́кѡ ѡ҆ста́виша мѧ̀ и҆ пожро́ша богѡ́мъ чѹжди҄мъ и҆ поклони́шасѧ дѣлѡ́мъ рѹ́къ свои́хъ.

Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

Ты́ же препоѧ́ши чрє́сла твоѧ҄, и҆ воста́ни и҆ глаго́ли къ ни҄мъ всѧ҄, є҆ли҄ка заповѣ́даю тебѣ̀: не ѹ҆бо́йсѧ ѿ лица̀ и҆́хъ, нижѐ ѹ҆страши́сѧ пред̾ ни́ми, ѩ҆́кѡ съ тобо́ю є҆́смь, є҆́же и҆зба́вити тѧ̀, гл҃етъ гд҇ь:

For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

сѐ, положи́хъ тѧ̀ дне́сь а҆́ки гра́дъ тве́рдъ и҆ въ сто́лпъ желѣ́зный, и҆ а҆́ки стѣ́нѹ мѣ́дѧнѹ, крѣ́пкѹ всѣ҄мъ царє́мъ ї҆ѹ҄динымъ и҆ кнѧзє́мъ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ свѧще́нникѡмъ є҆гѡ̀ и҆ лю́демъ землѝ:

And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

и҆ ра́товати бѹ́дѹтъ на тѧ̀ и҆ не премо́гѹтъ тѧ̀, поне́же съ тобо́ю а҆́зъ є҆́смь, да и҆зба́влю тѧ̀, речѐ гд҇ь.
