"Пойдём и возвратимся к Господу! Он причинял нам боль — Он и исцелит, Он ранил нас — Он и перевяжет раны.

Come and let us return unto Jehovah: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Через два дня Он вернёт нас к жизни. На третий день Он поднимет нас, и тогда мы будем жить вблизи Него.

After two days will he revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before his face;

Познаем же Господа. Будем стремиться познать Его. Мы знаем, что Он придёт, как приходит заря. Господь придёт к нам, как весенний дождь, орошающий землю".

and we shall know, -- we shall follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is assured as the morning dawn; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain which watereth the earth.

"Ефрем, что мне делать с тобой? Что делать мне с тобой, Иуда? Ваше благочестие, как утренний туман и роса, исчезающая ранним утром.

What shall I do unto thee, Ephraim? What shall I do unto thee, Judah? For your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the dew that early passeth away.

Я разрывал их на куски через пророков. Слово с уст Моих убивало их. Но Мои решения верны, как восходящее светило.

Therefore have I hewed [them] by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and my judgment goeth forth as the light.

Не жертвы Я хочу, а преданной любви. Хочу, чтобы познали люди Бога, а не приносили всесожжении.

For I delight in loving-kindness, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt-offerings.

Но люди, все до одного, нарушили соглашение. Они не были верны Мне в своей стране.

But they like Adam have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.

Галаад — город нечестивцев, запятнанный кровью. Люди там обманывают и убивают друг друга.

Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity; it is tracked with blood.

Разбойники подстерегают людей и нападают на них на пути в Сихем, и священники совершают мерзости.

And as troops of robbers lie in wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way of Shechem; yea, they commit lewdness.

Я увидел ужасное в народе Израиля. Ефрем был неверен Богу, а Израиль запятнан грехами.

In the house of Israel have I seen a horrible thing: the whoredom of Ephraim is there; Israel is defiled.

И для тебя, Иуда, пришло время жатвы. Это случится, когда Я возвращу из плена Мой народ.

Also, for thee, Judah, is a harvest appointed, when I shall turn again the captivity of my people.
