God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Бог, Які шматразова і многімі спосабамі прамаўляў у старажытнасці бацькам у прароках,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

у гэтыя апошнія дні прамовіў нам праз Сына, Якога паставіў спадкаемцам усяго, праз Якога Ён і стварыў вякі;

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Які, будучы выпраменьваннем славы і ўзорам Яго сутнасці і несучы ўсё словам Сваёй сілы, здзейсніўшы [Сабою] ачышчэнне [нашых] грахоў, сеў праваруч Велічы на вышыні,

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

стаўшы настолькі лепшым за Анёлаў, наколькі слаўнейшае за іх атрымаў у спадчыну Імя.

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Бо каму з Анёлаў Бог калі-небудзь сказаў: «Ты Мой Сын, Я сёння нарадзіў Цябе»? — І яшчэ: «Я буду Яму Бацькам, і Ён будзе Мне Сынам»?

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

І калі Ён зноў уводзіць Першароднага ў населеную зямлю, Ён кажа: «І няхай паклоняцца Яму ўсе Анёлы Божыя».

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

І што да Анёлаў Ён кажа: «Сваіх Анёлаў творыць вятрамі і Сваіх слугаў полымем агню».

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

а пра Сына: «Твой трон, Божа, — па век вякоў, і жазло праўды — жазло Твайго царства.

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Ты палюбіў праведнасць і ўзненавідзеў беззаконне; таму Бог, Твой Бог, памазаў Цябе алеем радасці болей за Тваіх таварышаў».

And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

І «Ты на пачатку, Госпадзе, заснаваў зямлю, і нябёсы — работа Тваіх рук:

They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

яны згінуць, а Ты застанешся, і ўсе яны, як вопратка, састарэюць.

And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

І, нібыплашч, Ты скруціш іх, і як адзенне1, яны будуць пераменены; але Ты — той самы, і Твае гады не скончацца».

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

А каму з Анёлаў Ён калі-небудзь сказаў: «Сядзь праваруч Мяне, пакуль Я не пакладу Тваіх ворагаў у падножжа Тваіх ног»?

Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Ці не ўсе яны службовыя духі, якія пасылаюцца на падмогу тым, каму належыць атрымаць у спадчыну выратаванне.
