Проснись, проснись, Сион! Облачись в свою силу! Вставай, святой Иерусалим! Те нечистые чужестранцы в тебя больше не войдут.

Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Иерусалим, встань, прах отряхни, свои одежды прекрасные надень! Ты, Сион, в заточении был, но ныне сбрось цепи с шеи!

Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Господь сказал: «Тебя не продали за деньги, поэтому без денег Я тебя освобожу».

For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

Господь говорит: «Сначала народ Мой пошёл в Египет и стал рабом его, а позже Ассирия его поработила.

For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

А теперь что случилось? Посмотри, Мой народ захвачен другим народом! Что это за страна, которая поработила Мой народ? Она не платила за Мой народ, но властвует над ним и, смеясь, порочит имя Моё».

Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.

Господь говорит: «Это случилось, чтобы Мой народ узнал обо Мне. Они узнают имя Моё, и что Я — Он, Тот Самый, Кто с ними говорит».

Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

Какое счастье увидеть вестника, пришедшего на холмы с доброй вестью и возвещающего: «Мир наступил, мы спасены, наш Бог — Царь!»

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Кричат городские стражи от радости, потому что каждый из них видит Господа, возвращающегося на Сион.

Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

Твои, Иерусалим, руины вновь счастье обретут, и вы все возрадуетесь, так как Бог утешил Иерусалим и его народ свободой наградил.

Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

Господь Свою святую силу покажет всем народам, люди всех стран увидят, как Господь спасает Свой народ.

The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Вы все должны покинуть Вавилон, а священники должны взять с собой всё то, что Богу принадлежит. Так очиститесь и ничего нечистого не смейте трогать!

Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

Вы Вавилон покинете спокойно, никто вас не заставит бежать или спешить, вы медленно пойдёте, и с вами впереди пойдёт Господь, а позади, от Вавилона вас храня, пойдёт Бог Израиля.

For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.

Господь говорит: «Взгляни на Моего слугу, он будет успешен во всём и станет важным, обретя почёт и уважение.

Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

И как многие поразились, увидев Моего слугу, потому что он был так обезображен, что в нём с трудом узнавали человека.

As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

Многие народы так удивятся, что даже цари от изумления не смогут сказать ни слова. Они не знают о Моём слуге, но всё же увидят, как это случится! Они не услышат этот рассказ, но всё поймут».

So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
